  1. I guess that much, may be hard to find here. Ikea has a wide range but not marked dim-able

    http://www.ikea.com/th/en/catalog/categories/departments/living_room/20514/

    Lower voltage should do it

Just adding to this thread, ikea thailand have the

    LEDARE
LED bulb E27, dimmable, globe opal white at 299 baht.
(E27, replaces your current non dimmable screw in globe without needing a transformer)
There is also another cheaper option bioBULB.co.th also have a dimmable E27 version that states works with most dimmers. I havent seen these in Thai Watsudu, homeworks, my local electrical supplier has these for 220 bht each.
  2. Hi all,

I am not sure if my double entry visa is still valid???

I have a double entry visa that was issued on the 26 Feb 13 with first entry before 25 May 13.

I used the first entry on the 3rd of March and left back to my country on the 21st April.

I returned back to Thailand on the 10th of September for the second time and customs said it already expired is this correct?

    Cheers mates,

    A Aussie traveller...

  3. How easy is it to buy a fake WP ? Documents in Thailand are so easy to fake that its a joke.

I have a aussie international drivers licence. The paper style looks kind of like a thin passport without any official stamps in it. I showed the police my licence after a random pullover and he had no idea what he was looking at, he had to ask a taxi driver if it was real. I guess an arvo with photoshop could create some interesting licenses.

  4. Hi guys just wondering if aussie power tools will work in Thailand? i.e jigsaw, hammerdrill, planer etc. I have my ones that are pretty good quality and dont want to buy the local cheap stuff or rebuy all my tools if I can avoid it.

I know the voltage side of things is fine, I just read on a previous thread that in thailand power tools from aussie run backwards? Is there some convertor I could use with them?
