Of course you are correct BUT, if the wee Thai guy was serious he would have wasted the guy as soon as the door was opened, in fact he would have done the job somewhere outside.

It is one thing to make a threat , but a whole other thing to kill.

And probably if he has to kill as many guys as his wife (or gf) will make a move on he will not last long too.
