When ever i come to TH the first day of driving for me comes with the highest risk. I can't help and stop at pedestrian crossings and several times somebody crashed into the back of my rental car. Police always decided it is my fault. I should not have stopped for people crossing. Once i fully adapt with the local driving option all is "fine".

the exchange rate more or less should reflect the status of the economy. If it doesn't there have to be other issues at work. can be sustained until it gets on the radar of some potent speculators. As it is for now it doesn't support the trade of goods nor will it be helpful for tourism (Meanwhile many goods are cheaper in Europe than in Thailand). Monetary easing has to come sooner or later. If it is delayed it will come with a bang or even a big bang. THB cannot be compared with the major currencies but has to be seen in the context of the BRIC nations. They ALL devaluated big time.

I have done this trip by taxi several times. The cheapest is 1800. Add a little tip... When i do the return trip the HH. Do not order a local taxi but get one from BKK. Same price. Whenever you try to bargain like 1600 the drama starts after the trip started and finally you end up again with 1800 - 2000. Shared minivan is about 150 - 200

Do the math! 80% means 4 out of 5 because they took the first who accepted them. . Less is impossible more unlogical!

Such a lovely idea to attract tourists. and it is in full accordance with human rights and doesn't discriminate any people.
The fact is bad enough, what is much worse is the mindset which enables the creation of these weird ideas!!!

in my humble opinion this is by far the BEST school around and everybody involved is highly responsible and taking care for the students. this school is engaged in international students exchange and meets high european standards. All kind of unfortunate events may happen at any school but i am convinced it is taken care of in the most suitable way.
