  1. Hi

Someone told me about a special type of traditional thai massage. It is for increasing mens power! They push around the top of the legs, stomach and other areas. I belive this is for blood flow etc. It makes you a very good lover apparently.

I am not talking about naughty massage.

Please if anyone can tell me the name of this massage - so I can ask for it.

Also any suggestions of a good place to get this in chiang mai

    Please see this link

  2. Hai,

I just had my laminotomy and disectomy at Phayathai Siracha 8 months ago, for a almost 20 year sciatica and back pain problem. The pain was not sharp, but it just constantly there. The MRI scan showed degenerated and dried discs on two levels L4-L5 and L5-S1. The hernited disc seems touching the spinal cord but not too much. Based on my symptoms and MRI, the doctor diagnosed as spinal stenosis, and recommended this surgery. It did somehow reduced the back pain which was getting serious prior to surgery, but it did nothing to improve the sicatica. So any surgery may not 100% solve back related.

I had also went to BNH, and it seems that Dr. Vicharn there is the foremost expert in Charite disc replacement in this region of SEA. Reportedly had done more than 100 disk replacement surgeries, and teaching other surgeon in this region.

However, according to website news, the success rate is about 60%!! See website www.adrsupport.org, for feedback and patient information, and recommended surgeon in Eurpoe. many patients reported good result, but some have totally failed.

goodluck, as one surgeon said to me...back problem is a never ending story....

  3. I use a Nokia 6070 via an IR link to my Thinkpad T41. The Nokia 6070 is priced at 4,710 baht at Jaymart, so maybe closer to 4,500 baht at a counter shop in MBK? It's also tri-band, GSM900/1800/1900, so I can use it in the U.S.A. (T-Mobile/Cingular).

Use a mobile phone with EDGE capability, not GRPS. It has three times faster speed than GPRS.

Get a motorola V360 which is cheap and fast.

Or a nokia 3230, cheap too.

Most Thai phone seller don't know about EDGE, so make sure you ask for what you want.

to find out which phone has EDGE, go to www.gsmarena.com.

It will be hard to find a mobile that has EDGE and not GPRS as well. EDGE is fine in the big cities however it does not cover all or even a half of Thailand. If there is no EDGE coverage and you have no GPRS, what are you going to do next?

    Hi there,

I am using EDGE in Pattaya, which has very good reception. Yes, it's a problem in other part of THailand. I think the next best option is to use those slot in adaptor card with your SIM card inserted or so call "aircard"?. The last time I visited Orange, they seems to have a good package to offer. Check with DTAC and AIS customer service, they may help you out. They also can determine which part of THailand has EDGE or not.

  5. If you want to add LPG, the cheapest cost about 18K baht with a fix mixer, tank and italian vaparozor. The cost go up to 50K baht for a six cylinder injection type LPG kit(not using mixer).

The lost of power is about 10%, which is hardly noticable in a 3000cc car.

But be prepare for rough/unstable idling if using a fixed mixer type.

The saving is more than 50% at current price of 9.6baht/liter of LPG. huge saving.

  6. Is it possible to flash a UK bought Motorola V3 so that it has Thai/English menus the same as a Thai bought phone?

Yes, It is possible. If you know how to do it yourself, download a language pack "LP0026", I believe; and do the flash.

If not, go to MBK, ask any shop there, and they will do it for you.
