I have 4-5 different independent sources (over a period of about the last 18-24 months) that have told me much of the same. Since it is only one sided verbal information and not being backed up by any proof, I can not be more specific here in this forum. I thought that would be easy to understand.
IF, if ... it turns out to be something real - it would be both right and somewhat useful to publish here ?? Or ...
I don´t need all these accusations and "remarks", - so if there is nothing else to say than that, please don´t bother to reply to this subject. It was not posted to create a hostile reaction or to draw any sarcastic "opinions".
English is not my native tongue, so there might be errors and wrong wording / expressions. Sorry for that ...

Blackmailed for secretly taken pics and threatening to expose to wife and family.

Sorry, I don´t have enough information to go out with this. It might only be rumours, but I have it from several independent sources in the area. One of them even mentioned regular blackmailing. What is the BG mafia with hq in Kalasin ?

Anyone heard of or know of possible ongoing organised "gf" scams in the Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Roi Et areas ? I know it happens all the time with single girls, but not so organised ...

Someone has "borrowed" my new Samsung J2 Prime - Android phone and I can not get the hold of this "someone" or the phone. I have the imei number, but I don´t want to involve police to track it. Is there a way to track it that I can do by my computer myself ? Thanks ...

Anyone knows if Kamagra or similar can be purchased in pharmacy in Roi Et ?

As said you do not need a OA visa to apply for a extension of stay based upon retirement.
Is it your visa that is expiring in 6 weeks or your current to permit to stay?
You will need 800k baht in a Thai bank in your name only for 60 days or proof of 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht.
That is my permit to stay until January 6. - I am aware of all the documentation that I need to apply for retirement visa. Thanks for clear answers

I understand that a "Non-OA" is required to apply for a Retirement Visa. How strict is this, and is it possible to apply when I have a "Non-O" ?? - or do I have to get a "Non-OA" and postpone my Retirement application ? It is now 6 weeks until my "O" expires, can it be changed into a "Non-OA"within this timeframe ?

So that is what I am going to do 1 month before my multiple entry Non Immigrant O expires. Thank you very much for all the information

Like I said, I can qualify for both - but like to choose "the easiest way" (which seems to be retirement). I live in a happy marriage and I don´t mind bringing my wife to the Immigration. But the point is, - can they turn me back and say that I must apply for a marriage extension, even if I have all the "stuff" for the retirement application ?
-
so, the choice is mine. I`ll guess I have to bring my wife anyway.
-
I qualify for both, can I make the choice myself - or is there any rules that apply. It seems easier and faster to obtain a retirement visa. I am aware that a retirement visa must start with non-immigrant "O-A" and marriage visa non-immigrant "O". Thanks for your answers.

1 year Non Immigrant O multiple entries.
I crossed the border / bridge at 11 am today and returned an hour later. Saw 1 soldier. Smoothest crossing ever. Only smiles and polite people.

Seem that a simple election will stop all these madness. However we have one side insisting and persisting with undemocratic power grap with help of the judiciary. If you keep ousting a democratically elected government by means of a putsch thrice in just 9 years, you got very angry people whose freedom of choice has been trampled again and again.
Seems like some of you guys does not understand that "elections" are just a part and a start of a democracy. You can not only win an election and behave just like you want, - there are lots of constitutional laws that you have to abide by. And if you seriously breach these, the courts has to rule on behalf of the rule of law. That is why a country has a constitution and courts. Is that so difficult to understand ??

Yes, Pacificperson - that is the material I am looking for. Thanks for the link. Does anybody have a clue where I can buy this in Thailand and what it is called in Thai ??

It comes in rolls with different patterns and you glue it on the walls. After you can paint it in the desired color. Since I am not an English spoken by native tongue, I am not even sure if it is spelled right. Can anybody please tell me what the right thing is called ? Best is if anybody knows the Thai words for it and where I can buy it. It is very common in Scandinavia. Thanks.
