Really nobody here that can help me out? I would prefer to get to know some personal infos about the school I decide for. As it is a lot of money I need to spend
Perhaps somebody heard about them*(Deleted out*)- online I was reading it is okay but is this a really good school? Anybody knows the teachers? It is near Chiang Mai.
Or any other recommendations? Please

In my opinion Sonkran is so beautiful. At least in Chiang Mai for days you only see smileys on the street. Once I rented with a friend a Tuktuk and for 2 hours we drove around with it, and of course with a water bucket. Best fun ever!

"worse pizza in cnx, like a giant cracker with a half empty ketchup packet smeared on it and only a few strands of cheese. Awful. "
I have to say, you have obviously no clue about pizza. Perhaps you are used to Amercian Pizza like from Hut Pizza - that can be nice too, but at "Why not" you get original italian pizza, a lot of the stuff even handmade. As well the idea there is that you decide your topping yourself, your fault if you are cheap and only choose tomatoes and cheese so much more toppings to choose from! For example the rocket salad is great!

Hi brucetefl
thank you very much for your thoughts! I totally get what you are talking about. I think I can be a good yoga teacher as I love to teach and be involved with people. My biggest concern was that perhaps I dont even get the change to teach as schools will not choose me as I cant offer the years of experience they are looking for. But I guess you are right, with a good attitude I guess I can show them that I have lots to offer as a yoga teacher.
150 Baht is not much, but I hope I will manage to earn around 600 Baht per hour, that would be great
Thank you again for your advice

Did you check out "Elephant nature park"? It´s a great project near Chiang Mai and they also have a pet rescue place, on their facebook wall you can see lots of sweet dogs and cats!

Hi,
I already have some schools that I checked out -- but what do you say? Can anybody recommend a program? Should be cheap of course, but even more important is that the teachers are experienced. I would prefer to learn classical yoga. Sivananda would be great, but I guess its not possible to find that in Thailand. Beach would be nice too.
Namaste

Hi,
I am Camilla, already more or less living in Thailand since several years.
The last years I worked mainly in call centers and was teaching English. Right now I want to focus on a new career and become a yoga teacher. As I regularly do Yoga here in Thailand, I know that on the Islands and as well in Bangkok and Chiang Mai there are many yoga centers and courses.
But does anybody of you knows about working conditions and standard payment? Do you think it will be possible for me to find a job, even when I just started to become a yoga teacher?
Would be great to get some feedback!
Best regards,
Camilla

Koh Phangan - for me the best island, I could stay there easily for six months... not too small, not too big! And nature is beautiful
