What is the cost to the Nation for all of the medical treatment required by road accident victims ? The costs must be enormous. The dead are the cheapest to deal with.
I've often said that Thai drivers only think about the destination and not the journey.
One other thing that needs introducing is mandatory insurance for motorbike drivers.

Travelling north from Pattaya in the direction of BKK, approx 1.5 km from the Pattaya toll plaza drivers will see the ON Ramp to join the new Pattaya-Map Phut tollway. This ON ramp is on the wrong side of the NORTH bound carriageway. Drivers wanting to join this ON ramp from the slow left lane of the carriageway will have to cross the outer fast lane to gain access to the ramp. The ramp should have been constructed on the left hand side. This will become an accident black spot. Be very careful when joining the ON ramp.

If you are going to install aircons make sure the installers use 3 core cable ( live / neutral / earth) or a 2 core cable (live / neutral) with separate Earth cable.
All aircons units must be Earthed.
From experience local suppliers / installers only ever use 2 core cable. Be warned.
Interview with the British Embassy Consular Team in Thailand - August 2020
in Q&A, Ask the Consular Team
Posted
In times of conflict, civil unrest and war foreign nationals have sought refuge within their countries Embassy's. What advice would the British Embassy Consular team give to British expats living in Thailand on gaining access to the new Embassy in times of conflict?
How would the Embassy cope with 100's of expats fleeing conflict and looking for a place of safety?
Selling the old British Embassy was a gross dereliction of Duty you all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
