  1. I'm looking for POS software for a small store with a large range of products.

locally I can only find one called Seniorsoft but it's only in Thai.

I will be setting it up so it needs to be in English.

For staff and customers though I need it to be English and Thai.

    Any recommendations?

I need a cash till, receipt printer, bar code printer, scanner etc

    Thanks

  2. I regularly work in Malarial areas near the Burmese border. Many people travel here to work with us and take Malarone. Generally they spend a lot of money buying it in their own countries. I'd like to save them some money by telling them where to buy it in Thailand. Does anyone know of a place, or have they seen it here? I've tried a few clinics and most have never heard of it.

  3. At the moment I am working as a voluntary Teacher for the Nai Amphur Banglamung teaching English Conversation to adults. I am a member of the Banglamung District Cross Culture Volunteer Group.

My G/F wants to move to Bangkok.

Is any organisation, I can join, doing this kind of work there?

You could try www.thai-dragonfly.com, they work at that sort of thing. They specialise in Thailand, and will arrange you visas etc.

  4. Maybe you are just allergic against alcohol

It's sounds like something two of my friends have. When they drink the get very large red blotches on their skin. It's caused my a lack of a certain enzhyme for breaking down alchohol. It's actually more common in Asian people but Westerners suffer from it as well. Supposedly it's harmless but irratating.

  5. I had tingling in the two fingers of my left hand farthest from my thumb. I was worried it was a sign of heart problems or diabetes. When I did research on it I saw a lot of info saying if it's just the two fingers it's likely to be ulnar nerve damage. After about 4-5 weeks the tingling stopped and hasn't returned. That was about 4 months ago. But if you have circulation problems it's worth getting a check up.

  6. Sometime in Jan or Feb next year I'm hoping to go cycling and camping for a few days. Haven't made any plans yet but thought I'd see if anyone else is interested in such a trip. If you are, reply on here and hopefully we can get a group of people together to do this. It doesn't have to be for serious cyclist so don't be put off if you're not. I think it'd be great trip to do and a lot fun.

I have camping gear already but if you want your own it's relatively cheap to buy, likewise for bikes if you don't already own one. I have many places in mind but am open to suggestions of where and when to go.
