  1. Thanks for that quick reply, only been in a month and thats how its been since then, just doesn't seem right to me!

I'll have a look when I get in for the pressure tank and also the the set screws......cheers

  2. I have a Mitsubishi WP-105P automatic water pump on my 2-storey house which when I turn on any taps, showers etc it turns on and off constantly therefore the discharge of the water is low/high/low/high etc etc, is there any setting inside to adjust to get a constant even water flow? or is this normal ? (cant see that being the case!)

    Any help/advice greatly appreciated.facepalm.gif

  3. Appreciate your help but still no success. Used your link and it went direct to the Thai site : http://www.lazada.co.th - and no flags of any nation shown sad.png

That's odd as I just clicked on the link in both Chrome and FF and comes up fine. Try hitting CTRL+F5 when you are at the lazda site and see if the flag shows up. Anyone else not able to get the English version?

It seems you may have to upgrade your broser Tywais as the newer ones do not allow unsafe scripting.

Now that may be the problem - I use FF but have the latest version sad.png

No worries, Lazada have a mobile app now and its avail in english clap2.gif

  4. For the past 4 years I have worked for a UK company on a 1 yr non-immigrant B visa multiple entry giving me 90 stay but I was always flying in and out every month so didnt really bother me.....Now my circumstances have changed, I am living and working in pattaya with 4 months left on my current non-imm B but I also have a valid work permit, as I dont travel out of the country like before my 90 day stamp is about to expire and I have been told 2 different stories on what i need to do -

    1. Go to Immigration in Jomtien with visa and work permit and they will simply give me a 90 day stamp no need to leave the country.

    2. No. 1 is <deleted> and I must leave the country and return to get the 90 day stamp.

Can anyone tell me from experience what I need to do?

    Thanks

    Gordon

  5. I have just misplaced/lost my mobile phone, cant remeber where but by now its been picked up, sim changed and away with its happy new owner!!

Anyway, maybe I have been reading too many spy novels, but is there a way of locating it as it has GPS satellite capability, it runs Garmin navigator.

Its an HTC P3300 Navigator if it helps.

    Any help or suggestions ?

  6. Definately enjoy a bit of fishing. I'm not sure if we'll get a dedicated forum though. Might be a bit too specific.

Could use this thread for all the fishing types to communicate though.

There is a golf section, and that is pretty specific. I think a fishing section should be given a chance.

Well if there's a golf section there should deffo be a fising section, fishing is the worlds largest 'participation' sport so I say get one going.

  7. This is a mangrove snake that we pissed off to get these pictures. The handler kept it occupied while I was shooting pictures. They are venomous but not deadly.

Bugger me ...I was handed one of these in a market show.....don't mind snakes but didnt know it was venemous!!

  8. Being a Geordie (from north of england for you yanks who may not know :o ) I was thrilled at the introduction by Emirates of a flight to Newcaste UK (via Dubai) and also having travelled a lot with them to Dubai anyway I give them the vote for the best for efficiency, food, entertainment, timekeeping, comfort, hostesses (m+f) and one big plus was the last trip which entailed 4 flights, 2 of which I needed to change and just rang them and they did it over the phone, no hassle, no cost, no problem.

I used to like Thai airways but havent used them for about 4 years now as evertime I price a trip they are twice as expensive, no exaggeration.

Cathay's newly redesigned cabins are brilliant, even the cattle class is nice an comfy.

  9. The OP proves once again how important it is to check if the entry stamp one gets on arrival is correct, a habit I must admit I have not yet acquired myself. Interesting, though, that on his first visit none of the four immigration officers who looked at his passport noticed the mistake in the entry stamp. It might have been due to overwork at that office on that day.

    Maestro

It happened to me twice on a non Imm B.....so now I have aquired the habit, like checking at the desk after the stamp and not moving till I am sure everything OK...peace of mind
