Traffic load can make big difference. If your friend went off rush hour continuously without stops, and you crawled in one traffic jam, it can be more than double.

Does anyone have experience with pre flight ATK test at Suvarnabumi? How long are the queues for the test? The AP information say the results are ready within one hour but could not tell how much time should we come to AP before departure.
Thanks for sharing the info.

There used to be a question on the arrivals card about our reasons for visiting. We all ticked temples, scenery, and beaches. Who thought they'd believe it? ????

I'm for that. However, cars in Thailand aren't a lot safer than bikes and for the same reasons: Absolutely no enforcement of road safety laws. It's Mad Max rules. If you can do it, it's legal.
Government does not want the proletarian to buy cars. Roads are digested already.

Shear logic,
Thailand blocked the entry to the Kingdom for a year and a half, and now it is rational to fine those tourist for destroying Thai tourism. Makes sense.

555 are you serious? People should mock and laugh all they want. You really think she is a threat to national security for which the article was hinting? You honestly believe that they just so happened to spot her while walking down the beach? You don't think the authorities have been tipped off by a jealous Thai or that some police or immigration officer is losing some pocketmoney now her husband has died.
So of course, we can mock this legal act. It's pathetic going after a woman like this, all for a photo opp.
She's been dumb and taking the mick for sure, but let's not think for one second we "sweat blood every year"; yeah it's tough, it's hard work and frustrating - but why would anyone have a problem what anyone else does? If it bothers you, you need to reassess what gets you so annoyed.I am annoyed by expats who suffer so much in this horrible country and still they will not move anywhere better place. A lot of members of the forum get their orgasm from grumping and complaining about life and how much they suffer.

They are trotting out this hoary old chestnut more and more frequently now as desperation sets in. The wealthy will not come to live in a place where there is no rule of law; no police force; dangerous roads AND a pandemic of corruption from the local cop up to the very highest in the land. Droughts and floods alternate regularly and then there are the dogs!
But you did

You guys will always mock and laugh from any official regulatory legal act. Hello, it’s almost 12 years overstay. Not a week. Not a month. We, the normative people sweat our blood every year to arrange the money and the documents to extend our visas but it was not touching her. This woman expressed the lowest level of law abiding and should be punished severely.

Curfew is needed to stop the new Thai variant covid strain known as the night strain (Omega) know to only infect between 9 to 4 and is currently only in certain provinces. Glad the CCSA is all over this strain.
The curfew shortens the period of potential exposure to infected people. It is planned to minimise the economic damages because few people work at night.

How about official certificate of vaccine from foreign countries ? Will Thailand accept it for tourists?

You must top up the sim every 2-3 month with a 100 THB or so.
You also should make a short call for few second to keep it active

I'd be interested to know where this data came from. As I understand it, there is no publicly available register of sale prices. It looks like this report is from a private company, so they should (theoretically) have no access to the data.
I am one of the 660 buyers.
Purchased a 2b condo in Parkland Charan. 4.4 M THB. Have not open its door yet because I wait for Thailand to open for travel.- 2

After the 2 years you will receive a 5 year DL. You don't need the Elite visa.
Just the health certificate and residence verification.

When will people learn that if some deal is too good to be true, it is a scam?
And why are our fellow members so sarcastic and mean? Show some compasion.

All over the Kingdom, the time out from tourist waves allowed the authorities to upgrade and renovate tourist attractions, and infrastructure.

Yup ^^^, with no direct sunlight I doubt tinting your windows will help much, unless you want additional privacy.
Keeping the cold air "upstairs" is going to be your priority, even a reasonably heavy curtain should help a lot (and be far easier than a door).
You could also try gradually increasing the temperature to acclimatise to hotter weather. After 17 years we run our A/C at 28C any colder and Madam rolls up in the comforter.
22 degrees is far too low.
26 is fine compared to outside temp. And the prime function is to dry the humidity, which is the main factor for Discomfort.

Some 14 years ago I was told by local branch to go to central office of Bangkok bang in Silom Rd.
The looked at my O visa and opened the account with no hustle. Including 2 debit cards and online banking.
