Perhaps they should reopen all the other cases of farangs 'falling' from balconies in Thailand. I suspect that the rate of murdered foreigners in Thailand would skyrocket.

I actually personally know of a case of a young American man (former neighbor) who was murdered in this way (being thrown off the balcony of his high-rise condo in Bangkok) by his new wife and her drug dealer/lover - for the insurance money. He met her while she was working in a bar - and fell blissfully in love with her. His mistake, aside from marrying a drug-using bar girl, was buying life insurance on himself and naming her the beneficiary. I guess being in love can make us do dangerous things.

Alas, these cases will never be re-opened, because it would be bad for Thailand's image and therefore tourism revenues.

Yes i was on a flight some time ago from Bkk to Syd , sat next to an elderly guy who was obviously heartbroken , mentioned the why why words then got smashed then later quite affected by the consumption showed me a pic of him and a much younger scantily dressed Thai lady sitting in a bar somewhere in Thailand ... i then moved seats and got some sleep , a walk to the bathroom several hours later found him sitting very still and very very depressed just gazing at his feet

Heres a possible scenario Mcanna is there at the crime scene for whatever reasons, then Hannah becomes a target ? things get rough , David becomes defensive , it gets worse then it starts to get violent , David gets in a scuffle trying to protect Hannah , Sean steps in cops a couple of nicks then flees , we all know what then happened to David and Hannah , later some guys track down Sean he is accosted and threatened ( perhaps as a witness to assault ) but wasn't there for the actual murder or rape / murder . He panics starts facebooking begging for help , he states on his facebook the ac bar guys did it ! mafia trying to kill me , the bar guys wait around , the police show up , they question the bar guys whom then are allowed to leave , Mcanna has now calmed down but he's still shitting himself , the police guarantee him police protection as they have discussed the matter at whatever situation with the bar guys , Mcanna then hides overnight and soon the police chief contacts him with an apology and guarantees him protection , he flees the island goes very very quiet then now is on soundcloud denying he knows anything but suggests there are 3 guys from the AC bar that haven't returned there and they should be be commenting ! he states now he was being set up to be a scapegoat and anyone with half a brain knew the burmese would get the blame.

now on soundcloud mcanna is suggesting 3 AC bar guys need to be talked to as they haven't shown up at work since this event , why doesn't he name them and why did the police who were called to investigate their threatening him after interviewing them there let them leave and then guaranteed mcanna police protection , then he hid and fled , walked off the island with no interference .

i might be stupid but that looks like police protection and assistance to flee for a person of interest with knowledge or information

OK if he hasn't done anything wrong or is implicated or knows anything about this savage rape and murder case how come he has to seek assistance to flee the island or cannot identify what his bike look likes or where it is now .

Possibly someone helped clean him up and the bike , OK ? but why hide it and her ?

Do you know what it looks like yea? You were involved but didnt kill, you were protected by the killer(s), after a week or so , no scapegoat for killers and RTP, next best thing -you . You escaped and set the ball rolling (thank you or else 2 innocent human beings may have punished with death) then yo did a deal with RTP that you would not say anything about the killers for your freedom

Pattaya is full of guys like these , last time i sat opposite Mikes mall on Beach Road i overheard a conversation between two Indian sexpats and a girl ( obviously sitting there ) they wanted to take her to their room ( shared ) and were trying to negotiate for 500 baht total cost.
