The grading rubric for our department is as follows: 30% final exam, 10% midterm exam, 60% other. I thought I had been doing myself a favor and kept all of my grades on a spreadsheet which calculated grades. Little did I know of Bookmark, the alternative program we had to use. Most of the Thai teachers had difficulty with it as well.

I created a second Facebook page for my students (M5) to view. This is hardly an original idea, but it has worked out well for me. I'm 24, so I knew that students would eventually would go looking for my profile. And when they did, there it was. I already had laid out photos, likes, etc. that I wanted them to see. It is also a way to become available to them after hours.

Going to the Sukhothai Historical Park is a good option. I would also go to the Si Satchanalai Historical park as well. I don't think it is as grandiose as Sukhothai, but it has a charm about it. Si Satchanalai is also a neat little town. When are you coming by the way?
