Hey I sent you a message, anyone else who likes to ride can do the same to me too. Love doing rides as well.

Would love to get some info on Hockey going on in Chiang Mai as well.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I thought I would ask here since it fits. I came first time last March for 1 month and 2 weeks on exempt stamp, then went back to Canada and got a triple entry tourist visa, after that, visa run for single entry, then another visa run for single entry, and then recently went to KL and came back in on an exempt stamp. So my question is, providing I can show proof of sufficient funds, can I still get tourist visas?

I've had a 2015 Z250 for 2 months now and I love it. Got the Z250 because I did not want to wait 1 month for the Z300, didn't like the Z300 colors(I got the Matte Black) and 40k more for the extra 50cc that I won't use much. I live on Koh Samui and the 250 is more than enough, but if I was somewhere where I took the highway often I might want to go for the 300. ABS or no ABS...depends on your skill level, it's a small and light bike it's really easy to maneuver, wasn't a deciding factor for me.

Set a time and date and we can all go for a drink somewhere.

Alberta last port of call now living South Island in Laem Set. Where are you?
Quebec now in Nathon.

Yep, love the country, hate the cold and the taxes.
Cool, I'm Canadian too.

Nope, mine is black, like my heart.
Only seen a couple of Versys on the island and my wife will never, ever want on the back of that thing, scares the life out of her.
What a shame, she's missing out.
I've been wondering, is the Can for Canada?

Sadly it seems it's the standard for most service businesses here. Sometimes you'll have great service, sometimes you'll have bad service. I bought a Z250 at Kawasaki and had great service most of the time, except once when an employee was really rude and uninformative, but he wasn't working there 1 week later. Same with Ohm Cycles, sometimes I ordered part and got it really fast, some other times had to call every day and even check directly with K-Speed(their supplier). Are you that orange Versys I saw 2 weeks ago, older gent with Thai lady? I'm the young guy with the mate black Z250.

Damnit, I wish I would've known this a month ago, or that I wasn't living so far from Buri Ram.

Have been getting decent service from 3BB for the past 8 months, but for one month the internet kept disconnecting and barely got a credit on the next bill for that whole month...left a really bad taste, but other than that's it's working fine.

Congrats on the bike, I assume you got it from the new Kawasaki dealer here.
Best bet for rides is to just put your willingness to travel out there and see if anyone is doing a trip.
Yeah I did buy it from there, nice staff very helpful and one guy speaks a bit of english.

Neilly, KLX and D-Tracker were tempting, but I wanted something I could use on the highway as well for road trips out of the island.
No worries Mig...if you ever switch to a KLX (or CRF) drop me a PM and come out with us
As for road trips...what about Steph Jeavons?
I know they make good travel bikes, but with someone on the backseat not so much. Different bikes for different purposes. I had to choose between the two and so far I'm happy with the purchase. A lot more so than the little MSX I had before.

Rooo, you live on Samui? I plan on taking it to mainland to do some road trips from time to time, but my girlfriend here works a lot so I ride around here too.

Hey guys, I've been living on Samui for a while and just bought a z250, not quite a big bike(especially considering I had an S1000RR before moving here lol), but enough for around here. I love to ride for fun and would love to meet other riders to have fun with. You can send me a message here or on Facebook(search for TheMig). Cheers!

A friend of mine heard it was possible to get a Thai driving license as a farang in Thailand and he wanted to know where someone would go to take the course to get said license. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

She doesn't always have some for sale but most of the time she does at the pet shop between Makro and Tesco on Chaweng main road, on the side of the Makro, right after passing it(it's hard to miss it has a pinkish red sign). Good service, we bought our cat and dog from there.

Shop is up and running.
Versys, eR6n, Ninja (300&650), z1000, 250 sl(?), dtracker.
Pretty decent selection and nice two lift service setup.
Cool, thanks for the update.

Hi, I have read a lot on the subject(although clear info is really hard to find) and am still a bit confused about how setting up a company in Thailand works. I'm a marketing consultant and am thinking of starting up that same business here(seeing so many farang business owners it's a nice market for me), but everything I read so far talks about having 4 employees, but since I'm a consultant I have absolutely no need to hire employees and it would be a waste of money. The 51% Thai part is covered, I just want to know if I can start up a consulting business without the need to hire anyone(and having to setup the 2Mthb that comes having to do that). Any relevant info would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone knows some good business lawyers on Koh Samui please do share. Thank you.

Went to Tesco/Lotus yesterday and it seemed open.

I am selling my pretty much new 2014 Honda MSX 125 that I bought brand new from Honda less than 6 months ago. I barely rode it and it's in pristine condition with countless high quality modifications that make it a truly unique and beautiful machine(exhaust, led lights, windscreen, license plate holder, lower cowl, side grills, mirrors, rearsets, levers, brake lines and MORE). Over 25,000THB in modifications with receipts to prove it. I bought full insurance and 1 year service at the time of purchase. This is a clean and mean little machine, looks great and sounds like a beast. I am selling because I am leaving Thailand soon, priced to go fast. I speak English and French only. Located on Koh Samui.
