I'm a thai woman in my mid 30's - living with a Farang boyfriend here in BKK (sounds all too familiar?? ). We met in Hong Kong five years ago when we both worked there.

Hello,
I'd love to meet up with you girls sometime. I'm relatively new to the forum but not new to BKK. Having moved back here almost 2 years now, I haven't made many new friends. So, it would be nice to get to know more people.
BTW, I know this is an expat forum. I hope being a Thai shouldn't be a problem?
Cheers,

Hello,
We used Crown Relocations when we moved here from HK. It is an international firm and we really liked their service.

Hello,
Our apartment complex on Sukhumvit Soi 8 started the renovation of the swimming pool two and a half months ago. Back then, they said the work would be finished by the Songkran holiday. But now, the staff can't give us a definite answer when it would be done. We asked to speak to the manager but were refused the phone no!!
While we start looking for a new place, we don't want to pay for the service that is not provided. Has anyone had any similar experience? The contract seems to be ambiguous (i.e. the swimming pool can be used free of charge).
Thanks!

Hello Billy,
Could you please tell me where in the Chatujak area I could find the apartment of your size & price? Well, I'm looking to move out of the Sukhumvit area too..

Have you found a place yet?
I have a 2-bedroom condo in a soi between the Central Pinklao shopping mall and the South bus terminal.
The room is about 70m2 big with a balcony next to the living room and one of the bedrooms. The building comes with a swimming pool, a small convenience store, and a laundry service.
If you're interested, I can send you some photos later as I'm going in to check the place this coming weekend.

I've been to a few places in China and it's true that a lot of places there are nice and clean. But I don't believe my country -- and my hometown, Chiang Mai in particular can be as bad as a cesspool! You should live in Singapore actually. I'm living here right now -- it's really really sanitized and absolutely clean!! But I'll choose Bangkok or Chiang Mai anytime..
