As Newbie noted Sansaran is very nice. I've been a member since last November. Cost is 12K Baht per year for a single, 9K baht for 6 months. Not sure if there is a family rate. The pool is 25 meters long, 50 meters for a lap. I swim there almost every day.

The only negative comment I have is that the men's changing facility is a bit small. Small lockers and just a small area to change in. Can't say about the women's side of the house.

On the canal road heading, in Mae Hia, just past the Rimping and right next door to the BBQ store is the Intrimex Hearing Center. They can give you the hearing test etc. I just had some ear holds made there. I've worn hearing aids for more than 40 years, so I am experienced. The people in this office were nice, efficient and English is well spoken.

Alos, on Suthep road, opposite side from all the hospitals and down from the moat is the Siam Hearing Center. They sell various models of hearing aids.

I had the 300 Baht lunch last week. While everything was tasty it was all lukewarm at best. Just wasn't satisfying.
