Unless you have previous 30 day entries since October 1, 2006 that you did not mention there should not be any reason you would not receive a 30 day visa exempt stamp on your return.

Actually I do - I have 3 back to back coming in from osaka/singapore/bali the 3 months before going to japan to get my 60 day...

Hi.

I entered Thailand with a 60 day tourist visa issued from the Thai Embassy in Tokyo.

I had it extended by 30 days at immigration here in Bangkok when the 60 days were up.

I am going to Langkawi Island in Malaysia for a holiday - just in time to be within the 30 days.

I will be returning to Thailand after a week there... will I have any problems getting a 30 day stamp - that is all I need as I'm going to the UK to get my business Visa about 3 weeks later.
