Most sane human beings realize that there are good things about every country on Earth and if they could afford it would probably travel all over the world. I know I would like nothing better than to hop from one private plane to 5 Star hotel to private plane. Ramen in Japan, Christmas in Paris, etc.

The celebs on television always have homes built inside large compounds. Always wondered how they are not totally bored to death.

Do you tell them that they aren't allowed to talk about certain things in Thailand but that you wish it was different? Given the way a child or teenager brain works, isn't that almost motivation for them to want to talk about those things?

Can you please give a breakdown of how a cart pusher makes 150k a month? Also if there is no rent how come the same perform will be in the same place all the time? And why do cart pushers in more expensive areas charge more if there is no rent? If there is no rent and it is a free for all how come they are not killing each other to get the prime spot?

when i was traveling through the north it seemed like a big factor in running these micro businesesses outside their homes was the consumption of alcohol and gossiping.

if they are too lazy/dumb to have figured out "make ice coffee/get a slurpee machine" on their own then you should probably just mind your own business.

what they have now, 2-3 cutomers a day at their mini-mart isn't a business. it's not a hobby. it's nothing.

i would stay out of it.

my wife and i barely had an argument for a decade before having a child together. once you add children your life will be much more stressful.

You can't be serious. Bangkok, while not overly dangerous, is hardly the safest city on Earth or even close to it.

The guy said one of the safest "large city" in the world, and he's got a point. Tokyo is probably the safest large city I've been. But BKK is way safer than any large US city.
