  1. I have just finished my second course of Thai-language. My first attempt was 6months, and second was 1year. I was just notified by my school that I can no longer attend Thai classss. I have finished the highest level class for them and they can not offer me another visa. What they did say is I can stay and study a different language like Japanese. I would like to know if anybody has gone through this situation before? I would like to continue learning Thai for my visa, but if I have to change my language I guess I would have to do that. The problem being is I am not ready to leave Thailand yet, and would like to extend my stay another year or two. I am unable to get a multiple entry visa, and student visas seem be the best for expats in my situation.

edit: I would also like to add. Does anybody know of any schools in Bangkok that offer ED visas that are not language oriented. For example culinary, computer graphics, 3D printing. Small hobbie learning centers that offer ED visas also.

  2. I actually studied at Thai Solutions for 2 years. When I changed to another school they gave me a letter of record of attendance for immigration. The letter simply stated that I was enrolled there. No attendance details were required. No problems at immigration.

If khun June is still there, speak to her she is very good..

She was actually the one I talked to when I went there Today.

Thanks for the straight forward answer.

How was the school if you don't mind me asking?

  3. 4evermaat. I am not looking into obtaining a new visa. I get my Multi-Ed visa from Miami Florida, and am returning back home to get a new Multi-ED for this School (if I decide to attend)

I just worry that I will get rejected from this new school and lose 10000 baht since they do not refund your admin fee if you are rejected.

I want to know if the Ministry of Education will look at my lack of hours from my previous school and decide to reject me based on that. If that is the case then I do not want to apply at this new school and lose my 10000 baht admin fee.

  4. Hi,

I am here to ask if anybody has ever been denied a Student Visa in Thailand (ED Visa). If so why?

I came to Thailand to help my Uncle out and Visit him for a while. I obtained a Student Visa for 6 months, and attended, but did not meet the qualifying hours you should. I had a Multi-Entry Visa so for my 90 day check in I would just fly out and visit another country for 3-4 days. Come back and get my stamp. I did this for almost 1 year...Even though my Thai school was only 6months.

    Here is my Situation

I want to apply at a different Thai School. Phaya Thai Thai Solutions. They are asking for signed documents from my previous school not sure if they want an attendance sheet or just a document saying that I did go to the school in general. I am looking to apply and actually attend 100% of my classes, but am worried that I may get rejected from the School due to absences I have had in my previous Thai Language School.

Has anybody had experience with this type of situation?

    Thanks in advance

  5. Moved to the Thai visas forum.

Edit: Do you have a re-entry permit to keep the permit to stay (from an extension I assume) you had when you left the country valid?

If you have one a return or onward ticket is not needed.

If not you will only get a 30 day entry and may not be allowed to board your flight without a onward ticket within 30 days of arrival.

I have an ED multi entry visa that requires me to leave the country every 3 months. Wether is a renewal stamp at the embassy or me leaving the country. My visa expires in June, and my class ended already. My school told me I can still use my visa till the expiration date...which I plan on doing.

So with my ED Multiply entry visa am I in the clear on my return to Thailand?

  6. I've been in Thailand for 6months now enrolled in a Thai language course. I canceled my return flight for an extended stay in my course, and have about 5 more months left on my ED visa.

I plan on flying back to America for my moms birthday then coming back to Thailand this weekend, but I'm worried that on my flight back to Thailand they will ask for a returning date back to America. I don't have a plan on my return as I may re enroll in another Thai course after my ED visa is expired. I do have a flight to Singapore in about 3 months to visit universal with my girlfriend, so I don't know if that would suffice or not.

  7. Love the comment about us Graduates on ThaiVisa Forum

    1. You are telling us much about you - where ar eyou from

    2. What is the age difference between you & her

    3. Where did she learn her English - University, Bars

    4. Where is she from, Krung Thep, Issan, Pattaya, Pattani, Chiang Mai???

    5. Where does he family live.

    6. Many Fuhlungs were lulled into thinking 'first dates, she pays for everything must mean she is well off" only to find out different, misses you?? Loves you?? next email will be for the sick buffaloe.

    7. Also beware of the 'Pea-Chai' (brother) you see her with all the time..........they are never t'he brother, they are the boyfriend' - I speak from experience - I courted (lusted after)a traditional (non-bar)Thai Girl in my younger days for almost a year while working in Sattahip, her Pea Chai turned out to be her husband, she was nineteen, had a kid five years old with him, and her husband was an accomplice to the whole shebang. They only wanted my money.thumbsup.gif

Im from the states, 3 year difference mid 20's im the older one. She learned her english from family/school/self taught. She is from north eastern area of thailand near Myanmar has only lived in bkk for 2 years. her family lives near Myanmar. She has no "pee chai" all her friends are girls or lady boys from who i have met. She seems like the looking for the partner type, and possibly marriage, but she knows I am leaving in 6months (maybe)

I have always been the guy who needs an emotional foundation for any sort of relationship...(go ahead throw your rocks) Me going out and picking up random one night stands doesnt work well for me. I have to be actually attracted to get involved at all.

I will not throw money away even if she builds up my trust. Im not one to subdue to "love" and toss money away. I may wind myself up emotional with somebody, but I always play it safe financially.

I hope when you go back in 6 months, you will stay in contact and send occasional money when needed to pay for room, or fathers hospital bill.

I actually think the money would be better sent to you. You could get some teachings on how to open your mind and not have it closed off in such a one dimensional perspective.

  8. Thanks for the laughs everybody/...help for those who did. tongue.png

But this is more overwhelming than actually help. I am going to just play this as it goes. Using my noggin and heart with some money....not alot, but some.

Thanks again! If you do have some advice you'd like to give you can PM me otherwise I am going dormant on this topic.

You have been rumbled,, We know you are a Thai LB or Girl that is just testing the Farang IQ

Lol sad that you think someone would go to that extent to mess with people on a forum. I literally am just asking for advice. As simple as that.
