  1. David Duke was a Democrat, and switched because he knew they were economic failures.  George Wallace....Democrat...Harry "Klansman" Byrd...same.  You do recall what Wallace did to that black girl on her way to school, don't you.  Oakland Coliseum is in an entirely black neighborhood....but they rarely go to baseball or even football games....they do work almost all stadium jobs, though.

Glad to see that you agree that the ACLU is not leftist.

Not sure how the would react to Skokie 2017, but over the years they actually have stuck to their principles.

Here is Lynard Skynard playing Freebird in 1977, Oakland, California....20 x 40 Confederate Flag as the backdrop.  No one objected....7 million views, second most popular song of all time, on almost every list.  It clearly didn't matter in black/liberal Oakland, why must these pieces of heritage be destroyed now?

This year it is Huck Finn, next year will be Tom Sawyer, the next year it will be John Wayne movies...be very careful what you wish for.

I realize the Trumpeteers like to parrot the inept one's "Tweets" with thinly veiled vindictive Obama bullet points

and grasp any opportunity to Trumpet them, however, Chicago places 28 out of the top 30.

"Among the notable rises outside of Chicago were increases of 56 percent in Memphis, 61 percent in San Antonio,

44 percent in Louisville, 36 percent in Phoenix and 31 percent in Las Vegas. "

"In all there were six big cities — Louisville, Kentucky; Memphis, Tennessee; Anchorage, Alaska; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Durham,

North Carolina; and Indianapolis — that appear to have set records for highest murder counts in one year dating back to 1960."

And instead of the correct 762 total, you have surreptitiously rounded that off to 780.

Therefore, inventing 18 murders that did not happen.

    Not surprised.

I've seen your work before. With a disdainful habit of going back and altering your posts after the fact in particular...

780...the bodies must have kept piling up, after the new year started. http://www.businessinsider.com/what-i-saw-crime-reporter-chicago-2017-7

McAuliffe (Virginia governor) has his eyes on the 2020 prize, no secret there.  This is his chance to shine, the way Nicky Haley did when that kid shot up the black church and she got the Confederate flag taken down.

Now tell me, who is delusional?

93 million per day...almost as many as traffic deaths in LOS.

  5. My family owns a million in real estate, about 20 miles from C'ville.  Pop says he is more concerned about Bryce Harper's knee, than one dead protester, who probably was not a student.  Cops in helicopters?  Kind of like cops on steroids....usually not a good thing, but all too common.  How many were killed in Chicago this weekend?  Before Jefferson used slaves to build UVA, the colonist were forced to attend the Church of England, and faced whippings and fines if they didn't, yet every county in the State is named after some shitehole in England...perhaps those people have a more legitimate beef.

The idea they won't take you from Nimman to Thapae ( or Warorot Market) for 20 is something new to me in the 10 years or so I have been doing it and 15 baht before that.

I Stated Thapae would be easy, lucky to get to Warorot Market, which is a five minutes walk further, but almost never Panthip, Airport Plaza, or a long list of other places in Mueang, but if you consider "in town" to be just the Old City and its perimeter, yes they will do that for twenty, but not at night.  But, Mueang is the central city, and most of it would not be covered.  Daytime circus pant/body odor/Chinese tourists tours:  twenty baht.  Oh, and since it is August, you can include look a like Eurotrash couples with inbred kids.

  7. I have walked out of that Tesco with a case of beer and they took me up by CMU for twenty.  I just walked about a block south, but yeah, that area is notorious.  7.5x is about what the pharmacies charge, too.  Long list of reasons to not live on Nimman.  Would make me miss the Beach rd.at Pattaya.

Neither of the two require you to be insured at home.  You will have to specify if you will be in the US or not.  You will be assigned an agent, evenbif you buy direct, so I buy through www.insubuy.com.     anyone, who chats or answers the phone is a licensed agent.  IMG covered a friend's daughter, who flipped her ATV in Mexico.  Medivac copter, spinal surgery.

I just got a quote for a 21 day trip to the US.  If you are under 70, you get 15,000 in coverage for the acute onset of preexisting conditions.  That is with UnitedHealth, but you will get much better terms if you exclude USA.

Thank KKK that doesn't sound too bad. I wonder if anyone from UK has any experience we tend to have a rip off culture here that stings you any time possible. Especially with stuff like insurance. ToneG

They are rated A/A- by the ratings agencies, unlike most of the companies mentioned here.  T

Tokio Marine also offer direct billing at RAM in CM and several in BKK....they covered my broken tooth, which was 4450, paid electronically, before I left the hospital dental clinic.  You can always call and ask them.  For Americans, sedan buy after or trip has started, you all can't...but you can get extensions up to a total of 364 days...five dollar admin fee.  And they don't cover cancer.  The other one to look at is www.imgglobal.com.   both are backed by Lloyd's.

  11. I was cleaning behind my fridge and noticed my pan was near full.  In dry conditions, it will almost entire!y evaporate, but it has been quite humid lately.  Kind of stinks, kind of dirty, and can make a nasty stain on your floor if left unchecked.  I cleaned it, and put a cap of bleach in it to discourage growth.  Give it a look, you will be glad.

  12. So true, so many insist on the hardway.  One neighbor has been here thirty years and always made a day of it.  I finally gave him my old envelope and told him there was really no need to suffer...he finally did it, told me it worked like a charm.  Another guy in his 80s is more the morning warrior type.  I finally convinced him to go at 15:00.  Saw him the other day...."was in and out in five minutes.".

  13. A friend just sold a house and I told him about MeeTaeDai with Krungsri.  He had a basic account there, for years already.  So he goes in and tells them he wants some better interest on his eight million and would like meetaedai.....CANNOT..he only had a tourist visa.  Kind of outrageous, but also indicative of how much harder it is to open accounts as a foreigner.  A lot of places, people would get fired for letting a quarter million walk out without some type of product.  Even the securities people would want to know why they weren't alerted.   At Chase there would have been a bond fund salesmen blocking the door.  She !likely just groaned and went back to LINE.

This is also a product of the shift towards fee based profits.  The old model of paying interest and loaning it out at more interest is almost a dinosaur..the only people worthy of loans are those who don't need them.  Better to nickel and dime people to death.

  14. If I had known about a seven day rule on TM30, I may not have changed my ticket.  I was scheduled to arrive on Sat 29 October, and that would have put me at Prom on Monday, after a week or so of closure.  No thanks.  Coming g I to BKK instead, and since I have to connect, I will be eligible for the QIC system so I should get through Immigration fast...have a 90 minute layover.  Going through London, instead of Beijing.  Cost me an extra 28 in taxes.  Will go to Imm on Thursday afternoon.  BTW, a guy just did his extension for retirement..arrived at 8am, got number 9, and was good to go at 11.....maybe we could suggest to them allowing us in 90 days early instead of 45....I would even sacrifice the few months to avoid december hysteria.

  15. Per existing conditions can be covered at 10% of total coverage.  Look at www.TMHCC.com.  if you are under 65, it should be less than five bucks a day for a million USD in coverage, that would cover your preexisting condition up to 100,000 and also cover evacuation.  Deductibles range from zero to 1000.  100k us is still a lot of coverage here.
