Hey guys,

Looking for some advice from people who have opened businesses in Thailand (small businesses, cafes etc)

What would be your words of advice. What did you find difficult and what was easy. If you were to do it again what would you do differently and what would you do the same to what you've already experienced. You get my drift.

We we are currently out of Thailand for 6 months and are looking to start building towards the end of the year early next year in Rawai. I guess at this stage we are looking at where to start and what the legal process of being able to build is, any advice from your experience(s) would be appreciated.

We are looking into building on our land in Phuket. I guess I'm looking to understand the process around getting drawings to applying for consent to the actual build of the house. 

I myself am a builder by trade so I would like to be involved as much as possible in the whole process if that's legal? If yes to what extent can I be involved without it being considered as working illegally?

Flat roofed houses are not a good thing in hot weather - cheaper to build though....

Geodesic dome would be a better way to go....

Yeah mate FB was where I saw them as well, but have had no luck finding them again.

I came across some in Thailand (that where manufactured in Thailand) about 6 months ago but I just can't seem to find them anymore. Does anyone know of anything similar to the link I've posted above that's done in Thailand?
