What evidence? You talking about non-existent CCTV footage? You saying she 'went' to the full-moon party so readers would infer she was partying when there's 'zero evidence' of that at all, or was it the punch up between her boyfriend and a mystery man for which you have never supplied a link?
What evidence exactly?
it speaks from it's rusty sheriffs badge..

She`ll probably agree to giving a restrictive statement with loads of, sorry, no comment, when the questions become too searching. Next, she`ll be giving TV and press interviews to the media that makes the highest bids. Wouldn`t be surprised to see her posing in a skimpy outfit or a bikini in the Sun newspaper with headlines, my horrific drug and rape ordeal in Thailand.
This is just another excuse hiding behind mummy`s apron. So far we have 32 pages of comments, those who believe the girl`s bs and those who don`t. You try to intimidate those who don`t agree with your opinions by clinking the confused and laugh buttons on their posts. Is that the best you can do to get your point across?
If you`re so convinced the event really happened then why not try to convince us doubters with some evidence of your own? You can`t because there isn`t any. The girls story is pure BS.
Can`t see any valid reasons to keep this thread running, just going around in circles.

Luckily for me I was never on the receiving end of too many bad lies.
But, like many men in Thailand, I heard enough stories from guys who believed women and who had to learn the very hard way that lots of seemingly lovely women are capable of lying with great talent - often to manipulate men.
And many women know perfectly well how to manipulate opinions again men.
I think this is why a lot of men learned not to believe everything women say. Especially if women pretend they are the innocent victims and a man or men took advantage of her the red light goes on that maybe this is not always the whole truth.
Since MeToo many women made lots of accusations often about a long time ago and often without any evidence. And in many (all?) of those cases men were not treated as innocent until proven guilty. It seems the press and some people believe basically everything these women said and lots of men suffered because of this severely. Because of accusations and only accusations without any proof.
I think people who are victims of any crime should go as soon as possible to the police and report the crime. And if the police does not listen then go again with a witness and/or a lawyer. It's obvious that it's a lot easier to investigates crimes which just happened compared to crimes which happened weeks or even longer ago.
So if a person does not come forward right away after the alleged crime this brings up the questions of why. And I don't think "I wanted to go to the full moon party this is why I didn't report it" is a good enough reason.

I would assume her 4 male room-mates would be first in line as possible suspects, especially the one at the beach with her.
But all the posters here seem to be looking for a Thai attacker.
I can't believe the number of posters hating on Thais.
Hate Thai police, hate Thai government, hate Thai bar owners.
Guys, move somewhere else if you don't like the locals.
excuse me pal..but i have yet to read anyone say it was Thai who raped her..i have not read any Thai hating..put your big wooden spoon away.

5 minutes ago, cyberfarang said:"She has not accused any specific person".
Good point and that`s because there is no specific person or people to accuse. They simply don`t exist. The woman cried
wolfrape and it`s gone much further than she had anticipated. So who is the mystery guy that was lying next to her or standing over her smiling on the beach? No description or details given. Another point, after raping, why would a rapist hang around on the scene after the deed so he could be identified or even apprehended? No evidence, no names, no possible suspects, no nothing. And that`s exactly what the police have to work on; NOTHING.
For the time being lets call him Phantom X
silly girl she should have asked the rapist his name before he jogged on...bad trolling pal..

I suppose it's down to personal choice really, and for me, having sex with someone (while drunk or drugged) I wouldn't have actually picked as a sex partner when sober in the day doesn't enter in my personal top 100 of 'horrific happenings' (assuming disease free).
What is all this drivel..you are now saying she went with a guy to have anal sex after just meeting them..no wonder you have had your legs broken with a baseball bat.

1 minute ago, Just Weird said:A "local news conference" is a news conference and it was open to journalists from any counties, where would you expect the RTP to hold a press conference? It was reported in the Bangkok Post before the Phuket paper picked it up.
Do you really think that the girl, her family, The Met, The Sun and The Times are not reading the press about the "case"? There is zero reason for her to be unaware of the interview offer.
"...presumably the police would have some way to contact her if they really wanted to try".
Why should the RTP have UK contact details for her and why should they in particular be the one's doing the contacting, it's the girl who has made the allegations, isn't it? Why has she not contacted them if she really had a case?
Why should the RTP have UK contact details
because she reported her phone and money being stolen to the police..so they would have her details..keep up

Fact is she stayed together with 4 guys (not including her boyfriend).
Fact it she got totally drunk.
Fact is on the next day she went to another island to party with her boyfriend.
Question is what happened after she got totally drunk. It seems she doesn't remember it but she somehow thinks she was raped...
fact is you are not telling the truth..
she stayed in a hostel that also had 4 men staying there.
she had a drink then was drugged
she went to another island to be with friends as she did not feel safe on KT..can you prof she went to a FMP
people do not think they have been raped especially as it was up her gary glitter.

Your idea of educated means keeping your head in the sand, keep it there.
why would you want children playing in the road? the garden or the park is a better place.

There are a small number of soi dogs in central Nan city and none have ever really bothered me beyond requiring the occasional strong words to herd them out of the way as I'm walking. But night is different. I don't know whether it is soi dogs or domestic dogs or a combination but they definitely roam as a pack and as other posters have said defend their territory. I've heard some noisy and long barking battles and once a fortnight at least some real fighting going on. I'm not a weakling by any stretch of the imagination but I would not like to encounter these packs at night if not in the company of others. I would prefer soi dogs to be eradicated and domestic dogs confined to barracks.
sounds like you maybe better of not living in SE Asia if you want all street dogs dead and pets confined to barracks.

18 minutes ago, Just Weird said:"did i say a farang did it.."
Did I say that you did say that? I asked a question after you brought "farangs" into it.
Eliminating a pack of stray soi dogs is not necessarily "sick", it could be considered a very good idea. Having been bitten by a stray dog and having to have a course of rabies shots, I think eliminating them is a great idea.
"...there are other ways to control a dog problem..poisoning is not one of them".
On the contrary, according to the OP it seems that poisoning actually is one way, and a very effective way, come to that.
ahh diddums did the naughty dog nip you..point it out and i will buy a nice big steak...been here over 20 years never had a problem with dogs...i find dogs are very good at working out the weirdos and the nasty people.they are the ones they normally nip
