A word of caution....look out for Makita fakes sold on online or social media.
If the price looks too good to be true, it usually is!

Anybody know where I can get a replacement battery for a LA NImble electric bicycle. 36V 10A?
Tried everywhere including LA factory, who were less than helpful.
Only one shop said they could get and quoted THB 8900...resonable or not?
I seem to remember reading in previous posts that someone paid around THB 4500?

Thanks for that, unfortunately, I am in the Hua Hin area, but I will try to find a similar outlet around here if I can.

Does anybody know where I can buy a small quantity of Marble Polishing Powder ? [the powder used in the last stage of polishing marble from it's raw state]
Can get from Lazada, but only in 5KG tubs at around THB 4500.
I only need a small amount to complete the polishing of a damaged bathroom marble top.
Tried all the usual outlets..Homepro, Thai Watsadu, Boon, local hardware outlets, marble outlets etc. etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Flight fright: Panic-stricken passenger causes turbulence at Chiang Mai Airport

I don't know the full circumstances relating to this story, but I too suffered a panic attack as the doors closed on a 737 flight from Manchester to Paris [I suffer from chronic severe claustrophobia]. I asked to see the pilot and explained the situation, I had no checked in luggage, and he allowed me to deplane to avoid any problem inflight. No problem for the flight, but it caused a massive issue trying to get out of the airport, the reverse way...apparently Manchester airport had no SOP to deal with this sort of issue . So a genuine panic attack can happen.
