I was thinking the same thing. That's what happens when you get involved with a crazy woman. He probably threatened to leave her.

I've only been to Thailand twice(2016-2017). Maybe because I was there for a short time, I didn't experience many of the people here talk about.

With that said, if you don't like a place, leave and never come back. This barrage of negative comments is stupid and a waste of time.

I will retiring in 6 years and Thailand is one of my top 5 countries to retire in.

It is amazing to me, that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of stories like this, but guys still keep going to Thailand to "find the love of their lives" and end up losing their ass.????????????

Do these guys have any friends? Someone needs to try and talk these guys out of doing these dumb things.

If you had that much money, there would be no need to live outside your home country. I live in California. If it wasn't for how expensive the cost of living is, I'd stay here. But as soon as I hit retirement age, I'm out of here.

First I want to say that some of you guys need to have more respect for women. How would you feel if someone was saying nasty things about your mom?

Well, first, I think that Thai women are really beautiful. Not only the way they look, but in their demeanor. I'm sure there are some that are "rough around the edges", but I've yet to meet one that has been disrespectful to me. This past February 2017 was my 2nd trip to the country.

As a previous person said, I love their "Up to you" attitude.

Only 2 trips to the country, but I will definitely be back.
