    take the bus on the lower level, just follow the signs and ask for the bus to pattaya, i think its 108 baht something like that.  Totally safe, taken the trip about 30 times.  When you arrive 2 hours later, get a taxi to LK Metro, lots of little hotels around for less than 1000 baht a night. Right next to Soi Bukhau.  No clue about travel insurance, but i am sure you can find it online.  I have health insurance here. 
    It takes 2 hours to do that one hour drive?

    Condo Rents Dropping?

    Have a look at the View Talay buildings in Jomtien, near the bus station.solid buildings built in the 90's . Studio rooms start from 8k and up. Some of the units are nicely decorated and for 15k you will get the best ones on the higher floors. To avoid mosquitos always choose a top floor , then you can open the balcony door and get that nice ocean breeze in without worrying about mosquitos.

    Is Soi Siam Country Club still a battle zone?

    For the first time in 3 years I managed to drive from one end of SCC road to the other with no diversions. OK, it was done on motorbike but could almost have been done in a car with a couple of small diversions, where they were finishing off the manhole covers. Red letter day!.
    Its all driveable by car now

    Chang Beer 5% alcohol content whats happening

    OK not a big drinker but when i do i prefer to drink a couple of bottles of strong beer, to get me to sleep and to avoid having to go for a Jimmy Riddle in the night.
     
    But on my return to Thailand this time it seems someone has managed to get Chang down to 5% alc content.
     
    Is this some forced govt initiative or have Thais turned into shandy drinking vegetarians w###### like men in southern England?
     
     
    Not hard to see why you stay in and limit yourself to 2 small Changs, you're obviously a danger to yourself in bars

    Any recommendations at Tucom to set up TV box?

    Maybe it's the box I have that's confusing, or perhaps it's not even working correctly. I did manage (don't ask me how) to get Covenant and Exodus installed, but when I open up the box the next day everything I'd installed had gone.
    Look for a white circle with 6 dots inside on the home screen.. All of your programs will be in there1513220706133

    Glad that's going well thus far. I like Dr. Warin. Wish it didn't take 2 weeks to get an appt with him--he's much too well known now.
     
    Anyway, pls don't forget to report back about the final result.

    Its all pretty easy to do yourself.
    Heres an easy program you should like_
    Mobdro
    Turn your box on,Open your browser and google mobdro.to
    Youll see a big red box with downliad mobdro in it.
    Click that, then on the top left of your screen youll see a flashing arrow showing you its downloading.
    Once its done drag that top left window where the arrow is down and install.
    Youll now have loads of channels like itv, hbo, cartoon network and loads more

    45,000 for 3? Normally that would be the price for one. Is that 3 implants or 2 and a bridge?
    I have had 3 stubs drilled and screwed in. It will cost 90,000. Ive paid 50% so far and the other 50% gets paid on completion. So its 30,000 baht an implant
    When i had the teeth removed at the dentist next door which has a Hollywood Smile sign outside, i was quoted 48,000 baht for an implant and was told she doesnt do it and was given a business card for somewhere in Pattaya Tai.
    It was on here where i found all of the good reports on Dr. Warin so i popped in next door and am very happy thus far.

    Non-o based on marriage

    I am currently having discussions regarding this issue with my wife.  I have a Non-immigrant Type O Multiple Entry Visa based on marriage with an "Enter Before" date of 7 Sep 2018; when I went through Immigration (13 Sep 2017) they stamped passport with "Admitted Until" 11 Dec 2017.  I believe this requires a Visa run prior to 11 Dec to get another 90 days...my wife says I have 1 year stay in Thailand and Immigration made mistake.
    Can anyone clarify this for me?
     

    Make sure you time it so the last time you re-enter Thailand is just before or on September 7th 2018 which will get you nearly 15 months from that visa.

    Oh and I'd personally ignore those advising you to get that visa in Thailand. It cant be done.

    Education and awareness is the Key....., so,it’s a start..
    I am going to go out on a limb here and state that there is evidence  that certain people have certain tendencies in the neurology which increase massively both impulsive and high risk behaviour.
    Those people types are drawn towards, wild sex often, drugs, alcohol, reckless car driving or bike riding and the list goes on..............  The studies have been done.
    The same said people also continue to engage in sex, sometimes unprotected as the neuro-factors over ride the logic button.
     
    I am not saying this is all, just a significant number for whom the world's best advise, will always be over ridden by pleasure promises of the dopamine or serotonin kind. It is a very complex topic to FULLY and I mean FULLY understand and so rather than allow your current information on this topic to be enough for a confirmation bias conclusion, new research as new studies ahve been done is essential. I feel sorry for such people.
