After changing to Win 10 almost every time they did an update, I got BSOD with Bad Pool errors. After months of checking all discs, drivers etc and chatting in line ( using iPad) to Microsoft and even letting them remotely access my laptop, sill a problem.
Eventually MS suggested to completely reinstall Windows from a clean install.
Following instructions to the letter i did so and for what must be over a year now,no problems.all if a sudden the Bad Pool Error has started again so I also am very interested in being able to control whenthe updates are installed so at least I get the chance to create a backup point before each update.
Furthmore i I am really not very happy at some faceless and non accountable organisation entering my laptop without my knowledge. What ever happened to privacy?
Did you know that you can delete updates? It's always possible to make a "clean install" that also comes with all the newest updates installed.
Please get back should you not be able to solve your problem.
P.S. Install "shut up" . Please see and read here:

Do you think the next election will bring a government with good governance?
Considering that Little P. and his band of fools, has insured that a good percentage of parliament will be populated by people who the army continues to control, long after they have left their positions, and allowed a democracy to exist, the answer is most likely not.
What should happen if it does not govern well?
The people should show their displeasure. Hopefully, that will not still be against the laws as it is now.
Elections are an important part of the democratic process. Is it correct merely to give importance to elections without consideration for the future of the country in areas such as national strategy and reform?
Yes. Elections are important. Change is good. Getting rid of the tiny man will be a great thing for the nation. National strategy is best considered by people of intelligence, not minions without vision or strategy, or imagination.
Do you think political groups displaying inappropriate behavior deserve a chance to run in elections? If they are elected, who should solve the problem and how?
Inappropriate behavior, by who's standard? Are you labeling a protest, or a demonstration to be inappropriate behavior? I will turn the question around. Do current politicians who display inappropriate, deserving of their positions of leadership? And who are you to make that determination?
Spot on! I don't know if Thailand could ever call itself a democracy?
Perhaps a democrazy, but not more.
The poorer get poorer and the military folks now richer. It's so sad for all the good people in this country who're trying to survive with almost nothing.

Many things have changed so far, but not in favor of Thais and foreigners.
Fags, beer, benzine, food, etc.. is so expensive that it's cheaper now to eat out, instead of cooking at home.
How should the ordinary Somchai, let's take an MK employee who makes about 15 K/month live a good life having a family?
You can't just make everything more expensive and leave the poor behind.
IMO, the locals I know do not like what's happening right now and they're all aware that it won't change in the near future.
In short: The country is screwed by
Before by the T. family, a never ending screw up.

Usually cereal with a lot of fruit, one or two cups of coffee.
But I don't mind to eat fried eggs with a fresh bread, but not American toast.
Once in a while, sticky rice with ripe mangoes is a great alternative.

If I were you, I'd inform TOT of your problem. They've been very helpful in the past and some issues in the past were awarded a much higher Fiber Optic connection.
They even run a website where you can criticize the work some technicians have done, should you not be satisfied.
No problems with my internet so far.

Here's a great solution, the option is hidden.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/3085136/windows/two-ways-to-control-or-stop-windows-10-updates.html
If you have a Professional, Enterprise, or Education edition of Windows 10, you can turn off automatic updates. But the option is hidden.

Actually it might be best to avoid that private web site as suspect information is not up-to-date.
My apologies. Sorry, but I had no idea about that.

The harness did go around his legs/groin it was the first thing I looked for in the video
It's clearly the Thais' fault. And the gear's way too old that I'd use it.
It seems that the boat then changed direction and the Thai guy had a hard time to stay up there. Then the free fall. RIP>

Have you seen the state of the Thai railway tracks?
Trust me, a coin can derail a Thai train :)
But only if a ghost sits on a tree and suggests the driver derail his train. Magic, you know?

Agree with most of it.
However coming to Europe with the intention to do Freelance work means just registering a business which is much easier and less restrictive than in Thailand. And the company belongs 100% you. Just sayin'Yep, you're right. But everybody from a more "developed country" knows that tourists usually make sightseeing tours. But in reality, you can see teachers, dive instructors, online clerks and quite a few more who don't follow these laws. That, on the other hand, might also be the reason for the enforcement of the laws.
There're not so many Thai English teachers on tourist visas working in Europe.......

seems to me the power tripping spoken of in this thread and the other recent one is due more to reactions against widespread visa abuse as opposed to necessarily wanting longer-staying farang gone;
for instance many have abused the ED visa as an excuse to stay,
and many are teaching without work permits as well...
even more numbers of people come here and work illegally while having a tourist visa
(in our province alone it is literally 100's of divers, etc at any given time, among myriad others)-
when you think about it, this appears to be at least some of the reasoning behind the recent bombshell
in last few weeks re immigrants working and more draconian penalties for worker AND employer...
i think they're fine w/those of us who come here not to work, but to retire and have a good life-
as long as they don't perceive one of us to be abusing or unduly gaming the system
(athough of course that would mean that we are the only ones here who WEREN'T gaming any systems here),
and of course there is also a large degree of disparity as to how we are perceived depending on who, what, where,
why, and how we are, each of us individually in regards to our actions here...
I guess that we all know of some people who're working here without the right paperwork. But that's more an international problem.

My experience in life is if you look decent and not unkempt, things may have a tendency to go a positive way.
Whether people believe it or not dress/appearance are judged by others, even by Thais. So, it can't hurt to try and look like you care about yourself.
If one looks like a dirt bag, then some may feel that in fact they are.
"Even by Thais"/// They're not dogs, sorry.

I believe the parasailing harness is not designed to be able to be released when it is under load e.g. when the person is airborne, which is indicative that the harness was not correctly attached to the parasail, which as the video shows was quite a hurried activity.
The whole set up is clearly for "single occupancy" and is not designed for an additional person, so what was the other person doing climbing up into the rigging? It appeared that he was snagged by the harness at lift off, and climbed up on to Mr Hussey' shoulders to save himself from falling. This action could have caused the harness to release or to fail.
+ 1. Spot on. It sounds very understandable to me.

There was a saying whenever a farang was involved in an unfortunate incident, for example, a car accident, that
"If the farang wasn't here, it would never have happened, so it must be his fault" !
Unfortunately, quite a few Thais still believe in this theory !
Unfortunately very true. The original words came from a judge in one of Pattaya's Chonburi road accidents, where a foreigner was involved.

Can easily be done now-- All that is required is a Thai employer, a "B"visa and work permit !
Or a Non-O married to a Thai national. I think it's great that foreigners do not have to have a Non- B that only makes them to dependents of a school or an agency.

You can stay here and do some work, pay your tax on your income and both sides would be happy
Why is it called "tourist" then? Do you really believe that all online workers want to pay tax? Would you be allowed to work on a tourist visa in America, or somewhere in Europe?
You can stay here and do some work, but then on the right type of visa. Even when it's sometimes a pain in the budt to get all documents sorted out.
People who work here aren't genuine tourists.

What does it mean "hippy" exactly - does it mean it's bad ?
Should I look like a tourist wearing elephant pants (hippy), or I should look proper (potentially working in Thailand). Confused now what's the best strategy for entering on SETV.
Wouldn't it be better to stay on topic?
