The recent change in your annual extension of stay reason from marriage to retirement does not have any bearing on the paperwork needed for your next 90-day report in person - i.e. notification slip stating the next reporting due date and completed TM47 form in addition to your passport, as presumably hitherto.

Thanks for the information, i asked because i heard you still have to show you have 800,000bht in the bank, but from your reply you don't is the correct.

I not had any problems with the online reporting site.

Are sure that was not doing it on the mobile app and the old site.

The new site works good on a browser on mobile or with a computer.

Not sure they just said they had problems trying off there computers, i've just registered

and looked at the form it's only 1 page which i fill in my details and my house address, the

owner will be my wife as she has the blue book i would of though but at the bottom it asks

for a phone number is that her number or mine,

    TIA.

You can do the report up to 7 days after your report date.

No problem to do it couple of days after your report date.

Have you tried doing your reports online? The new system works good.

I have thought about it but after all the problems also 2 people i know have done it

but off there phone they kept getting rejected trying to do it on there computers,

did you have any problems like that.

    Blue book/yellow book,

    Marriage cert,

    map from house to immigration,

Photo's of you and wife in/outside house,
    Photocopies of everything,

    that was i KK immigration,

  8. Hi guys,

has anyone got medical insurance through farang insurance, i've got a quote of them

and they are not far of 30,000 cheaper than the other company i've had quotes of

that is a big difference they are a British company but have an office on Ko Samui.

  9. Hi does anyone know the name of the website or link to register your covid 19 certificate,

  10. Hi guys,

A teacher who has just left an ASQ hotel in BKK is travelling to Nong Khai on an overnight bus

and should get here this morning, the question i have is as he is leaving a red zone under Thai

law does he have to self isolate for 14 days, he flew in from London 2 weeks ago and because

he left an ASQ clear he thinks he is ok to get here and go straight out and have a look at the

    place,

i'm  sure he has to quarantine but just looking for clarification,

    thanks in advance.

  11. Hi guys,

does anybody have a link to find out what colour each province's zone is please,

the reason i'm asking is i'm in Nong Khai at the moment but i will be leaving soon

to go to Chum Phae KK province to see my family and my next job is in Nakhon

Ratchasima, they want me to travel straight there without going home first as they

are worried about C19 in CP, i thought all 3 were in yellow zones but i can't find a map

    to clarify it.

    Thanks in advance.

Up to 14 days before or 7 days after....a 21 day window.  Its easy, just show up with a passport and photo.  They'll give you the form, tell you what pages of your passport to copy, etc.

Ok i didn't know you needed passport photo's as well

    thanks for the information.

The advice I have already given stands.

    You have 4 options.

Obtain annual extension. Requires ~ 2+under months consideration period money in bank. You don't have the dosh.

    2. Hope 60 day extensions will continue to be provided.

    3. Use agent to obtain annual extension. Not cheap and perhaps beyond your means.

    4. Return to home country. Impossible?

If i go for the 1 year extension do i need to provide the same documents as i

did for my 90 day non o,photos, ampures new letter to say we are still married

marriage cert and and all the photo copys plus our i.d's and my passport and

blue book or will the still be on record.

The one year extension is obtained inside Thailand. Think the advice above in several posts is clear. Obtain the annual extension at immigration which has financial requirements or apply for 60 day extensions due to covid situation. These are not extensions to visit wife/family.

Yes i understand i need to stay longer than 60 days and don't have the financial requirment

in the bank because  so it looks like the other way to get a year visa even though i will only be

    here till may probably

  17. 2 minutes ago, ubonjoe said:

He an apply for a one year extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon marriage after getting the non-o visa.

That is not the same as applying for another non-o visa.

So i'm only allowed 1 non o 90 day which i have now if i go onto the

family visit visa after that they wouldn't issue me another 1 based on

going for a one year extension i'd have to leave the country.

Yes I agree with nrasmussen that it's verification you are staying where you say you are. They use the hand-drawn map from the office to your home that is part of the applcation, each visit they have had the paper map with them.

I would love to volunteer a few days a week but I can't see that changing anytime soon. I believe you can get a work permit on a marriage extension, but not for volunteering, mainly for employment.

Can you get a work permit on marriage extension without a degree??

Only one non-o visa can be applied for at immigration since it can only be done with a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. After getting a non-o visa he would not qualify for another one.

As i said in an earlier post my friend was on an amnesty like me i got a non o

he got a family visit visa and has now changed that to a non o i was just wondering

if i change to a family visit could i get another 90 day non o because immigration told

him he can't get a 1 year non o from a family visit visa he has to have a 90 day 1 first to

    change into a 1 year.

  20. 10 hours ago, DrJack54 said:

From your non o you can obtain an extension of 12 months based on marriage. Is that a problem.

You could obtain another non o by exiting Thailand and re-entering. Clearly that's not an option.

What about getting a family visit visa then in 60 days getting another 90 day non o

based on marriage as that is what my friend has just done because you can't get a

12 month non o of a family visit so he got a 90 day one taht's what KK immigration

said to him, or are you limited to how many 90 days non o's you can have in a year??

just looking for options as i don't have 400,000bht in the bank.
