I've been a satisfied customer of this service for six years. They offer several different mailing addresses in the US. I have to pay a small premium to get a Florida address so it costs me a bit more but it's worth it as Florida is my tax home in the US (no state income tax). They offer a service package with free envelope scanning of received mail and you can have any letter you choose scanned (obviously it is then accessible online), forwarded to you, or shredded. I'm pleased with the service. They will even send any checks you receive to be deposited in your bank for an extra fee. I almost never have to have mail forwarded since in 98% of the cases seeing the scanned copy online is sufficient.
The one negative thing I would say about the service is that they won't forward packages to Thailand as this country is apparently on their naughty list (apparently Thailand figures prominently in many fraudulent transactions, go figure ???? ) which means I have to use another package consolidator/shipper in the US when I have the rare need to ship something from the states to Thailand. Aside from that one complaint, I'm a happy customer.
Ive been with them for a year and theyre good. I didnt realize they don't forward to Thailand. One thing I dont like is they dont use fedex or dhl only USP.

They want your money in their bank . That's it. I have my $$ in stocks ,bonds, CDs and mutual funds invested in my country that earn a hell of alot more than what I get here in a 3rd world thai bank. Im not going to start tearing apart my portfolio for this .
Bottom line is that they dont want foreighners here..(unless their chinese.) Lol
I've heard many times, thais dont like foreighners but love the money.

You're right asking personal questions ...that was inappropiate. In fact rude and none of their business.

9 minutes ago, Mike Wolfe said:That's interesting what was the name of the immigration supervisor you met with yesterday? Because I just left the immigration office in Bangkok a few minutes ago myself where I also had a meeting with a supervisor there named Wattanapong Tawara about the future of the income affidavits for United States citizens and he assured me that there are absolutely no changes coming regarding the proof of income affidavit for U.S. citizens. He said that immigration isn't changing any procedures regarding the extension of retirement or marriage visas for any citizen of any country and that the issue regarding the British citizens is merely a British embassy issue and he said that no other embassy is changing the way they process their income letters and he assured me again that all immigration offices throughout Thailand will continue to accept the income affidavits next year and for the foreseeable future. So what was the name of the immigration supervisor who you spoke with? The man I spoke with today is a very senior level immigration supervisor and he told me exactly the opposite of what you posted. So far you're the first person to post any information about this and it only came from one immigration officer, and I'm the second person. What was the immigration supervisors name? I'm really curious to know if you spoke to the same IO as I did which was the same immigration office as well. I really want to know who you spoke with, I know who I spoke with at immigration. Again according to him they will continue to accept the income affidavits next year and they have no plans to change the process for any citizen of any country and that came from a high level immigration supervisor at the same office.
Mike, youre correct . I'm in CM and the visa agent said the same . Bangkok has not changed a thing. Also renrwed my passport yesterday at U.S. Consulate at CM I asked about affafavits they said no change in the foreseeable future. And said that's only the British Embassy.

What a joke. So now immigration want proof of money in their 3rd world banking system. Either proof of having 800,000 in a thai bank or proof of deposit into a thai bank each month of 65,000. No thanks. My pension is 78,000bht a month. And I have proof .I keep it my bank in my country. And easily live on 40,000bht by atm withdrawals with no fee.
Fed up with their constant games ,rule changing ,tea money and hypocrasy. I lived in Colombia , Ecuador ,Vietnam and
Cambodia never put up with such nonesense. They dont want me to put my pension into their evonomy, fine.

Married a poor village girl 11 years ago, so I guess I am "silly" as you suggest, although she cooks like a chef, cleans like a professional cleaner, is a fantastic mother to our kids, roots like there is no tomorrow and at least 3 times a week unless I am tired, has a beautiful home that I built her, a modern car and a motor scooter, a little money in the bank and spoils me rotten every single day of the week, to top it all off because I know you don't believe what your hearing, she is not spoilt, no nose in the air, or Princess in anyway to other Thai's or myself, jut a village girl, and I also play the field and she is ok with it.
I have invested about 1/10th of what I am worth and if she is going to slowly poisoning me off for "her assets" as everything is in her name, after all she is the mother of our kids and they will need a roof over the heads and a car to get them to school, shopping etc etc, then she misses out on the other 90%.
Smartest thing I ever did was marry this bar girl, which kills your theory of remaining single and playing the field, because if you have balls and find the right woman who can handle the truth before you marry and accepts you for who you are and what you want in life, then your miles ahead ay, we won't talk about the 23 year old that was most enjoyable the other night because you being a single bloke understand, but being married to the right woman and sharing your life has more meaning and far greater benefits than being single and playing the field from where I'm at.
If shes so great why do you "play the field" ?? Shes all that allegedly and you $#@/ around on her ..what a catch you are...?????

Unfortunately, he had added the amounts from multiple sources incorrectly (off by about $20) and his agency required him to return to the US Consulate and pay for yet another statement showing the corrected amount before submitting the documents again.
We both wondered afterwards if our back-up alone would have been sufficient – it seems a fair amount of money to pay for something that is no longer accepted…
I did it a week ago in CM. No backup required. Just affadavit. .. maybe you two looked like deadbeats.

Decent people take responsibilty for their actions. He appears to be taking responsibilty. He made a mistake and takes ownership of it what else can you ask of him.
The only thing more pathetic and slimy than this piece of garbage are the posters here defending him. He's not sorry. Lol. He's just saying what HIS lawyer told him to say and how to grovel to avoid a more serious fine. And for the clowns that say "well hes taking reponsibility " ??? the CCTV already did that moron.

Are you insane ? you have very clearly lost it along with those that "liked" your post
He should have called the police, it is their job to sort stuff like this out - if they fail to do so (which is likely) it does not give anyone the right to take a gun and murder someone
Called the police? ?????? oh you're too funny.

She has definitely moved on ....... you should do the same. Don't dwell on it .......... no point. She's found something else that just might be better than what she had ............. Thai thinking is their family & what she can do to improve her quality of life. It's always money, money & money ............ which is of course "survival" here. My view? ............... relationships are for fools here. The women are beautiful & enjoy your stay here ................. "pay as you go" ......... you'll be a lot happier! Good luck & happy hunting eh?

Cheap shot indeed. He looks pretty ok for 57, his girlfriend seems far from young bargirl material, and more to the point, he only just finished starring in a central role in one of the most daring rescue operations in recent memory.
