Just received my QR code, just 2 days after my application.

Now I can confirm:  In the Covid Certificate Section, please submit your EU Digital Covid Certificate (1 page only) twice. For First Vaccination and Second Vaccination as well.

Same QR Code for 1st and 2nd Vaccination.

For Date of 1st Vaccination: e.g.  10/June/2021. 

For Date of 2nd Vaccination:  11/June/2021.

It's about the EU Vaccination Certificate. They only issue 1 certificate after the 2nd dose, around 3 months after the first one, and you receive only 1 page with the number of doses received and with the date you received your final dose. 2/2 (two of two)

So what happens if I only fill out the "First Vaccination..." section and leave the "Second Vaccination" section blank? Does the application go through anyway?

I received my acceptance (application received) but not the QR code.

I have a EU Vaccination Certificate and it only shows ...overall doses... 2/2.

I was told to load up the same certificate twice. Date of 2nd Vaccination must be later than the first one. I gave in 25.6. instead of 24.6.

The application was accepted and I received my confirmation email immediately.

Lets hope they understand the problem (only 1 certificate) when they check my application.

Just tried from wife's computer and no problem. My computer from Sony still runs windows 7 and was first registered (IP Address) in Phuket.

May be that's the problem.

Yes, I did. Then I gave in my flight date, length of stay etc. and I pushed the Confirm button again. Next page shows " header subject and below header. for NonThai. What is this supposed to mean? I'm not a PC genius. Thank for your help.

I have all my documents together and I opened the TP website. I choose the "Test and Go" program and had to push the "Confirm" button. Nothing happens, I can't get further.

Are updating the TP App??

The EU only has only 1 page with a QR code on it and your personal data and only stating ...Number of Doses: 2/2.  Do I have to load up the same certificate twice?

I just received my booking confirmation from my SHA Hotel in Phuket.

The hotel sent me 3 pages. 1. Hotel Room booking confirmation, 2 . PCR-Test and transport paid, 3. a SHABA Certificate with a SHABA ID.

They said I have to print out the SHABA and show it at the airport.

They also told me that I can load up all pages now and many customers have done this and received a Thai Pass approval code in a couple of hours.

All very confusing.

Sorry for thread hijack. 

The problem is the hotel issues 3 receipts or bills for Hotel, Taxi and PCR-test.

You can upload only 1 page on Thai Pass. So, it has to be all on 1 bill or receipt.

Does the SHA Hotel have to include the prepaid fee for the PCR test at Phuket airport in the hotel bill. Since we can upload only 1 page it will be the only way.

I heard about paying your PCR test on arrival at the airport????

Must the fee for the PCR test be included in hotel bill or does the hotel issue a separate voucher or bill?

You can obtain a non O (retirement) in the USA.

Since you already have money in Thai bank, you could enter visa exempt and obtain non O at immigration. Subsequently obtain the 12 month extension.

If you actually can satisfy the money in bank requirements then you could do the process yourself. It's not difficult.

Or you could have an agent assist with the organization side of things. 

 

I left Thailand in May 2020 and my Non-O visa extension expired in October 2020. Can I return to Thailand on a visa exemption and apply for a Non-O at immigration while I'm in Thailand? Do I have to apply for a Non-O 90 days visa first and extend it to a 1 year visa after 2 months or can I apply for a Non-O  1 year visa as well? I still have a bank account in Thailand and I meet all the financial requirements.

I was told you can't obtain a Non-O visa while you are in Thailand, only at your Thai embassy in your home country.

If your current permit to stay ends in July you could do a quick border run to get a new one year entry. Then get a re-entry permit to keep it valid when you enter the country after your trip. Then you could apply for an extension of stay near the end of that one year entry.

You cannot a apply for an extension anywhere other than at immigration here.

sorry, I  just don't get it. I'm on a Non-O-Multiple Entry Visa issued  at Penang Thai Embassy and is valid until 12.September 2018. When do I have do fly out of Thailand before the visa expires. Is there a time limit e.g. 1 day before the visa expires? When I return, do I have to apply for a re-entry permit at my local immigration office before I leave the country again? What does the IO stamp into my passport upon arrival? A brand new 1 year Visa or Admitted until 11.September 2019.

I hold a Non-O-Multiple Entry (1 year visa) issued by the Thai embassy in Penang  and valid until 12.September. 2018. So, if I leave Thailand for a short trip to let's say KL on 11.September.2018 and I return to Thailand on the 12.September.2018,  I will get a 1 year extension at airport Immigration from the IO until September 2019?  Is it just a stamp as the usual " ...admitted until.." stamp?  Can I buy a Multiple-Re-Entry which it need for my new extension with my current Non-O-ME visa? I never heard of this option and I'm wondering why people without 800K in a Thai Bank do not know about it and still use expensive visa agents instead?

To be honest, it sounds a bit strange to me.

...but you have to pay tax in the US for dividend income from your funds (Mutual Funds, ETF, CEF etc.) if you hold any. It's 30% for US citizens and for non-american citizens, non-us-residents it's 15% tax. 

Just returned to Phuket from the "National Park". Avoid the island at all costs. The midnight curfew is still in effect. All major bars are closed on Silver Sand Beach and where replaced by new, overpriced beach restaurants (98% Chines customers!) The small Disco at the beach is closed. All bars at Vongduern beach are closed as well, only overpriced beach restaurants there (closing time 11.00 pm or earlier).

No fun, no party at all. 98% Chinese customers everywhere. Entering the "National Park" costs you 200  BHT per person and I can assure you the "cashiers" in army dresses are informed of new arriving guests either by the boat captains or the Songthaew drivers. They stop every "taxi" and force you to pay 200 BHT entrance fee. On the beaches they follow you until you pay the "entrance fee". Really annoying. I went there for having fun and booked a couple of days at good beachfront hotels at Silversand Beach and Vongduern Beach and now I can't wait flying back home to Patong Beach.

Absolutely boring Island and a tourist trap for Chinese travelers. (e.g. 500 BHT for a mini pizza).

Condos and Houses in Phuket sell for 10 to 20 % less than a couple of years ago. Are condo and house rental prices in Patong dropping as well?

... and all Porn Sites from all over the world blocked since yesterday. Maybe the "government" doesn't want that Thais get horny while watching porn on the 7 dangerous days. No kidding!!

I just received a letter from my embassy stating they only can issue this letter if I have rental income or get sate pension "payed to my account abroad". Bad luck for privateers. I went to Penang last year and they declare the income letter as "anti money laundry campaign". You have to pay 15K THB to an agent without the proof of income letter and you get your Non-O-ME Visa (1 year). The law in Thailand say's either 800K on the  bank  OR  proof of income of minimum 65K/month. They starting this nonsense at immigration in Thailand as well. Let's get it straight, it's all about Tea Money again.
