Thanks for the information, I already looked at this link but it doesn't say anything about internship agreement. 

I read online about ED visa application in Laos for language school students but I didn't find information about internship applications in Vientiane except the website of the embassy.

So the only documents needed are these ones?

• Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic institute/organization
• Copy of registration certificate of the concerned academic institute. ( The company I'm doing my internship in?)
• Academic record and the Student ID (if currently studying) (copy of student ID? I didn't need this when I did my application last time)
• Recommendation letter from the concerned organization addressed to the Embassy is also required

Hi,

Do you know exactly which papers I need to do an ED Visa for a 3 month internship at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane?

I already had an internship but that time I did my visa in my home country, I heard that there are less documents needed in Laos for a visa than other countries, is that true?

My visa expires in a little bit more than 2 weeks, so I want everything to be ready soon, I know some documents can take long to deliver.

Thank you for all the informations, I will continue with my current ED visa then.

For the non ed visa in Vientiane, I only need these documents (Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic organization, Copy of registration certificate of the concerned academic institute, recommendation letter from the concerned organization addressed to the Embassy) ? I don't need any internship agreements for the ed visa?  

When I had to do the non ed visa in France, I had to give more of papers.

It is not for an extension but just a change of company.

Do you have a single or multiple entry non-ed visa?

Thanks for your answer, can I start my new internship asap then? I have a single entry non ED visa. The internship is 6 month (2 x 3 month), it's not a problem to leave the country, after the first three month, do an other ed visa (in Laos for example) and continue the internship for another 3 month?

I am currently in Bangkok for an internship (started early January) under an ED visa that I did in my home country (France) but I decided to change company because the one that I am working in right now does not correspond to what I applied for. I already found a new company which is going to hire me as an intern, starting in February. 

I am quite lost on what to do. Do I have to do an ED visa again because I am changing of company?  If yes, I would like to go to Vientiane but I cannot find online which documents I need to bring in order to get my visa there.
