Hey,
my travel insurance is about to run out and before I renew it I was wondering about changing the insurance/companies or if I'm already covered with the workpermit.
My current insurance is a travel insurance with https://www.truetraveller.com and costs around 15000THB/year but I'm barely travelling anymore as I was working most of the times and then do a visa-run with a one week "holiday" in KL or some other big cities. So it might be better to switch to an expat health insurance?
On here https://www.thaihealth.co.th/2012/product_wealthy_eng.php it would cost around 7000THB/year or even less if u choose a different product (e.g. "maxi healthy" or "simply healthy"). Anyone has any experience with this?
In the last 7 years I only went two times to a doctor/hospital when I was really sick or needed stitches. Normally I would just go to a pharmacy and they will prescribe me with some antibiotics if needed. So it's mainly an insurance if an accident happens I guess.
Do a lot of the expats (~30 yrs old) out here still have travel insurance or moved to an health insurance?

Will I have trouble if I fly from Thailand to Malaysia, don't go through Malaysian immigration and board a flight back to Thailand 2 hours later? I have a one year non-b visa (unlimited entries?).

Hey,
I'm going to pick up my new German passport at the embassy in KL after arriving on the normal visa-on-arrival-exempt (90days). I don't want to apply for any new visa, just want to get on a flight to Europe. Do I need to go to Malaysian immigration to move the entry stamp to the new passport or will I be fine to leave Malaysia and just show them the entry stamp in the old (void) passport?
Thank you!

But if they notice it at the embassy when applying for the Non-B the WP would be void?

Hey,
I went on a visarun to the Maldives but the Consulate only issues visas to Maldivian people. My return flight is to BKK and I am wondering if I am allowed to reenter the country on a 30 day visa exempt and then leave after the weekend to Malaysia to apply for my Non-B visa. I am worried that I have to restart the whole WP process if I enter the country without a Non-B visa.

Covid test required for work permit?

Hey,
my wp is about to run out and we are not sure if I need a covid test to renew it. Friends in Phuket renewed theirs 2 weeks ago without it but maybe it's a regional thing as I'm located in Krabi. Also my (one year) non-b visa expired in may but I suppose I can wait with the application until mid of September.
So anyone tried to renew their wp without a test in Krabi? Don't really want to pay up to 4500b for the test if it's not necessary...
