This is wrong. 90 day reporting still required, TM30 still required, TM27 still required (TM27 has never been enforced so far).
Please read the government document again. 90 day is gone!

Why anybody ask if you go out of the country? Big deal, you get a stamp when you return. Same as today, but have no longer effect on you if you are on the non-o/a.
What I don’t see in the replies here, is another good news: The 90 day reporting is also scrapped.
Only requirement now is to report if you change permanent address.

Why don’t you just open a currency account in £. It can be done with most major banks.

The video shows the poor grandma running out into the road in front of the motorbike.
im glad she is ok, could have been much worse.
i doubt the motorcycle was at joint fault unless speeding.
A motorcycle is always at fault, silly! Any vehicle should stop for soft “targets”. Only Thai and Dutch people don’t know that, and think it’s their right to run down pedestrians whether they are driving car, motorbike or bicycles.

From a business point of view, Thai airways have less seat than other competing carriers, and they can still not fill up their airplanes due to high prices. That’s not a staff problem. It’s a management problem.
Thai Airways business class on a B-777-300 have 4 seats abreast. Example KLM got 6. Thai Airways Economy class have 9 seats abreast, but KLM have 10. This makes 50 less seats in Thai. If flying with an average of 85% load factor Thai cannot make money. Example applicable towards most other carriers.

Would the stamp hurt my chances of getting the Elite Visa if I went that route?
Why would you even consider Elite Visa, when all you can show is 20.000 baht in cash? No credit cards? With hotel and food, they probably thought you don’t have enough to support your stay.
Next time, if they ask for proof, show them cards etc.
In my 20 years coming as a regular tourist, I never been asked to show return ticket or cash. Something is not right here.
And again, you are obviously not in a position for Elite visa. Forget it.

Just used Transferwise to transfer euro to baht. It took less than 10 seconds to get it into my Kasikorn bank. On top of that, a lot better rate than official bank rates.
Easy to use app.

A small restaurant called FOR FIT'S SAKE, located on Sukhumvit road, 5 minutes walk from Asoke BTS, serve Keto on their menu. Calorie count is also there. Some items, like a Caesar salad could have a K-note to it to take croutons out. Tell them Keto for other items and they help you out. Good and tasty food.
