  1. We had 2 Thai Airline tickets - Business class, departure & return for April 2021 to Europe -  and after multiple phone calls and email messages to Thai airlines, we recieved vouchers to be redeemed before end of 2022.

It was however, quite a frustrating experience as most of our calls to Customer Service were not picked up, and the vouchers were received 2 months later than the advised dates. however, finalized now. No agents were involved as we had booked and paid for the tickets through the Thai Airliines website

  2. Hi Skatewash, thanks for your input, as I find it to be also applicable to my own upcoming plans. I do have one question for clarification, please

If I read the OP's opening query correctly, his wife is vaccinated, but he is not. I understood from the attached requirments that doomestic travellers who are not yet vaccinated are all required to take a test up to 7 days before arrival. Is this not correct? Thanks

  3. Thank you for your input. Can I please ask for some clarification, just to make sure I understand.

I am in Thailand on a non-OA multiple entry Visa. If I want to apply for a yearly extension of stay, it would be best to apply for this before my exisiting visa's expiry date is over. Is this correct?

I understand that to apply and obtain the extension of stay, the criteria - THB 800K, etc need to be met, which is not an issue

    Thanks

you therefore need a re-entry permit, otherwise your existing permission to stay will be cancelled and, if you meet the requirements, you'll only be given a 30 day visa exempt entry, in which case you'll be back at step one in applying for a new retirement extension of stay ... you'll need a non-imm O or OA visa entry plus all the other requirements.
