I sent my Proof of Life certificate in September whilst I was in UK.  Has it witnessed in a Job Center, where the guy who signed it said he had often done it. No problem I thought.

Pension due on 11th December was not paid.  13th December I sent an E-mail through GGDWP website. 28th December received a reply (hard to work out as there was no punctuation). Basically confirmed my proof of life was received and processed on 12th September, they stopped my pension (two months later), but would now reinstate it. (Punctuation mine.)

    No explanation and no apology.

Not only hopeless inefficiency, but rude and ignorant bad manners.

You are merely a number not a human ... your demise would be appreciated. saves on paper work . TD

Great posts. Good to hear it from someone who has been there and done that, as opposed to someone who has just read about it on the internet.

Good intel. Look forward to hearing more of your time here in days gone by,

    Thanks.

I hope he didn't suffer too much before he died.

I think the parents / guardians of this child should have been paying better attention before his disappearance.

I my self and ex wife had rice fields to tend to, there was ALWAYS a carer standing by over our son .. this little fella had a slightly older sister that alerted parents that he was taken by a man....beggars belief. RIP little fella.

My dad had the electric-drill attachment, could be an option if it's really cheap (< 100 US).

That Lazada one is a toy, only 150mm swing, good for making egg cups (which I do have on my list).

EDIT I don't mind buying (and paying for) the right tools, I'm still working at present and want anything I buy to last into my retirement years.

Hope all goes well , help you to keep your peelers off us lot ! an ex hobby of mine my fave wood was yew.

I believe only qualified medical personnel are authorized to take and analyze blood samples, not the dummies in nylon. As for alcohol, I intend to both gift and consume copious quantities, so stuff your own pious holier-than-thou messages

Wassail !! & a banging headache to you too.  TD.
