It always astounds me when I make a trip to Thailand how prevalent the Russian language is around the country. It's on street signs, billboards, spoken around busy areas. Not that this is a problem; I find Russian a delightful language to listen to and have always enjoyed the warm nature of Russian tourists abroad.

How long until it replaces English as the most common dialect?

You have to learn to read Thai expats.  If they say they really don't like ladyboys it means they do.  Why else would they be posting in another ladyboy thread.

Long tan lurker, first time poster.

Was down old Koh San Rd with me mate Pluvers recently knocking back a few Tiger beers. After a dozen or so, the women in the bar started to look a little hazy. Pluvers got a bit keen on one of the ladies eyeing us off. Anyway, as she walked over I noticed her pencil erect underneath her high cut denim shorts. She proceeded to flirt with us for a bit before excusing herself for the bathroom. 

While she was powdering her pencil, I told Pluvers that she was in fact a he. Well, Pluvers wouldn't hear about it. He said that if she was indeed a real she, I would go there. Which is probably true based on aesthetics, but still I just couldn't bring myself to Phucket. Pluvers called me a gutless coward and we haven't spoken since.

So I wanted to get everyone's learned opinions, what's the politicallycorrect etiquette with trannies these days? Are you expected to follow through if you find the man/woman attractive? With so many genders and ways to identify, I'm a little confused how one should proceed
