Hi guys,

An unexpected event brought me in a very unfortunate situation. I need any kind of 1 year Resident Visa and I don't care which one at all, I just need it as a proof for a visa application for overseas and it's needed ASAP.

I had an ED Visa 09/17-08/18 (English language)

and an ED Visa 09/18-05/19 (Thai language)

Rest was just Visa exempts and recently one 60 day Tourist visa im currently on. Last 3 years spent 90% of the time here. So also need to make sure I don't get rejected for that.

Any ideas/thoughts? agents?  Highly appreciated, thanks!

Talked to them already and they said should be possible. Was surprised cuz I stayed so long already (even though no tourist visas).

What are ur guys thoughts about the likelihood of me getting a 60 Day Tourist Visa in Vientiane (via land with thaivisaservice, German Passport) after using the following Visa types the last years:

2016: 5 Visa Exempts (4x air & 1x land)

2017: 2 Visa Exempts (via land) + 12 month ED Visa

2018: 9 months ED Visa

2019: 2 Visa Exempts (via land)

Never had a tourist Visa or work permit, never overstayed.

I need to get a Police Clearance Certificate from the Royal Thai Police for a Work Visa for Saudi. Anyone knows about the processing time? Seems to be just 100 Baht but I heard to get it within a few days you need to pay 2,500 extra?!

My Agency requires:

Criminal clearance Letter Royal Thai Police and certificate by Thai Consulate.

What about the "certificate by Thai Consulate"? Anyone knows what that is? Unfortunately the Agency doesn't know much about the process...

Long story short: your girlfriend functions as your landlord if it comes down to TM30 reports.

You can just get the TM30 + fine on the day you plan to do extension as well, problem solved.

Agree! But, if I understood correctly, I still need all the documents from my (girlfriends) landlord? copy Thai ID, copy house book listing, POA form, copy lease agreement? Plus GF copy ID and POA if I go on my own?

And if the landlord refuses to file a TM30, then she will eventually get fined too.

As far as I know the online registration will take a while. Otherwise my gf could do that. So need start a day trip to go to either CW or police station to do TM30 asap?

Hi guys!

I came into Thailand Aug 16th with a Visa Exempt stamp. I live here in an apartment even though my name is not on the contract, just my girlfriends name is. I thought my landlord has done the TM30 already but just found out she didn't. She now claims that my gf and me need to go together to CW or the police station to do the report. But in both cases get fined anyway. I can't do it online, seems like just for Apartment owner/manager/receptionist.

1.) Is it true that my gf is responsible and not the landlord if im not on the contract?

2.) Why should I do the report if I get fined anyway?

3.) Would get fined once I do my extension at CW or once I am leaving Thailand?

Will go to CW and do both change stamp and extension. I think my landlord has done TM30 already, will definitely re-check again! Thanks!

I entered Thailand via Poipet on Aug 16th, not a normal Visa run, I spent some time in Cambodia. Supposed to get my 30 day Visa exempt but got stamped Oct 14th, so 60 instead of 30 days. Need the 2 months, I live here. I think she wrote a "30" in my passport (see picture). 

What would you guys recommend to to?

Just leave after 60 days cuz I didnt know anything? Might get overstay then cuz might be different date in their system, not sure if the stamp counts or not. Or get it changed at Chaengwattana and then extend?
