  1. Has anyone in Bangkok had Botox injected for bruxism? I've been looking around and and while I have found a lot of beauty clinics I haven't found a dentist that does it. I would prefer to see a dentist since I imagine they better understand how the jaw works specifically and I need it for teeth grinding and not aesthetics. Also it's surprisingly expensive. I was quoted 12000 baht by two beauty places which is more than I've paid in Europe. I understand that the Botox itself costs money, but I wonder if they practise some unpsoken price control within the clinics.

Methylphenidate  (Concerta, Ritalin) is a strictly controlled drug here and can only be obtained at a hospital.

There is no registered brand of Modafinal on the market here. Possibly some of the hospitals have brought it in.

See this recent post on one TVF member's experience getting Methylphenidate  and costs

When you go, can ask about Modafinal

Thanks Sheryl, that's very helpful ????  By the way I've read from several sources that only pharmacies at hospitals carry the Concerta. Do you know if that means the prescribing doctor need to work at the hospital where I get the drugs or will any Thai doctor do?

Once again the poster asked if modafinil is available,  yes it is.  And it's not fake lol. I'm not sure why this is being debated

Any chance you or someone else can tell me where in Bangkok it's available?

I have a US prescription for both Modafinil and Concerta, but it seems very hard to find either in Bangkok. I'm happy to get a doctors prescription locally, but no pharmacies seem to stock it here.

yes - the andaman sea is much better than the gulf of thailand.  i live in hua hin and have been fishing out on a boat here and we caught very little.  same for my friends when they have been out.

i have also been to the fish market at ranong on the andaman sea market and the variety and size and colours of the fish they catch over there is amazing

we have a fishing shop here and when the thai owner goes fishing, he makes the 4 hour drive over to the andaman coast.  get down there if you can OP

    Sounds awesone, thanks man

  5. Hi Everyone,

I'm based in BKK, but I'm taking a week of in late December to go traveling and I want to go somewhere with good saltwater fishing. I see people on the forum complaining about Thailand being fished out, but there must be some good places left. I hear some of the island in the Andaman sea are good. Any chance you guys got some specific tips on where might be good in December?

    Thanks!
