  1. That piece of land owed by ”CP”, and many other plotts around 1000 rai in that area. The Icon Siam group is going to have a similar project as in BKK, the new family friendly Pattaya city!

Hence, they don’t earn much money from the high speed train and they don’t draw the new high way no 7 there for nothing!

  2. He always makes some noise to get some more "bananas".

Not so long a go he came up with the idea of having a new national anthem. He said that the one we have today, has no line about honoring the monarchy and the Royal family thus the new one needs to embed it in the new national anthem. Hence he needed more bananas!

His party is a one-man party with only about 45,000 votes, and he got the seat in the parliament because of the "right" system in order to remain in power of the junta. He himself once "was" the head of a gangster in his local area... try to figure out how much credibility he has.

I am probably not allowed to post the link so I won't - but if you look up an article about Gen Apirat chief of the army in the Bangkok Post. he "lashes out at old communists" that are behind all the problems according to him in Thailand. This was on the 12th of Oct 2019.

The war against communists in Thailand lasted from 1965 to 1983....how many ex-pats knew that? Basically the whole time the USA was fighting the Vietcong and the USA was using Thailand as a base to flatten 3 neighbouring countries a guerrilla war was going on in LoS.

Also, the communist party of Siam was founded in 1926 by extreme left wing chinese that had fled China.

So why now, does this junta government lie down like lap dogs to big brother China and seeks help from mother Russia to train the troops?

as with all things reported about Siam.....all very very bizzare....

Monarchy and communism is like black and white, can't never comply thus grey.... but Thailand, the only country in SEA that never been colonized by the West, is smart enough to see through things clearer and deeper than many others... I don't say Prayuth & co., are smart but there are those with the real powers... I'm Thai so I know what I'm talking about.

Today's Russian constitution was "made in the USA" by the USA and the Russian oligarchs (most of them in the UK now) since the beginning of the 90's, therefore "the fifth pillar" embedded, and not much communism in both its' politics and economics. Putin knows...

China has always said to be a communist country but not much when it comes to economy. You can see many rich Chinese like Jack Ma, the owner of Huawei and many more, every where. Chinese citizens are free to do business and can get rich as long as they keep their mouths shut about politics.

On the other hand in the West people can mostly "free" to speak their opinions on politics (no much nowadays since Facebook and Youtube tend to ban them), but economically is the opposite from the Russia and China. They also pay too much in taxes in almost every country in the West so that they, the people have not much left for their own savings for the rainy days. The majority in the West are very dependent on the systems and their governments, especially for their old ages... and if the systems collapse... most of them go broke in a blink of an eye... So much for the "freedom" and "democracy" for the leftists' democracy, that you guys now want to live in "the third world country" and under the junta like Thailand... ????????????

"Mom Tao" What no Big...... nick name wouldn't take him too seriously.

Actually "Mom" is bigger than "Big...". The word "Mom" is informally used to indicate his status of belonging to the Thai royal families, in his case "Mom Rajawongse..." which means that his father is a Mom Chao = His Serene Highness Prince). Thai people take every "Mom" seriously if you wonder.

So If the OP's profile birth-date is accurate, then he is 34 years old. That explains a lot.

If I were 34 years old now I might move to China as well. Thing is when I was 34 years old or so I did spend a lot of time in China but that was about 30 years ago.

I think he's just another loser, and a dishonest person.

One of his comments said his ex-girlfriend is a doctor at Bumrungrad hospital another one said he´s worked online (TV) for 8 years without paying any income tax. And he just used his ex-girlfriends for his own advantage (wonder if he was man enough to help those ex-girlfriends for his own living). No wonder if they kicked him out as soon as they realized what kind of guy he really is.

Then it does't take a long time for him to get married with a Chinese girl (probably for a visa (?)). I really feel sorry for her but hoping he treats her better than he did with his ex, Thai girlfriends, not only just taking advantages of her though.

Seems like he can't make easy money in China like he did in Thailand and then tries to discredit The country for not letting him live here easily. What a loser!

I was told the same by a Thai lawyer. Although you both just have to list what you own before you marry. Thai divorce simply splits community assets (those gained during marriage) 50/50 and anything you owned before getting married is not included. I read on here once that there is a form at the Amphur you can fill in before getting married although I've never seen one.

I can confirm that that's the case in Thailand with Thai Civil Law. I was a law student before I move to Europe, thus no degree in law from Thailand, but  a degree in business management from Europe.

Anything you owned before you got married is yours if you split up, keep everything in England, you have nothing to worry about

I can confirm this since I studied law (Thai laws) for many many years ago. Thai civil laws don't make it difficult to people, that's why we don't have many problems when divorce like in the West. According to Thai law very thing you owned before married is always yours, and every thing you earn and build up together after married have to divide between the couple when they divorce.

I'm not sure if the English laws apply if you marry in Thailand, or just Thai laws.

It all depends Where you are in China!!! I was in Shenzhen recently and i found it very very very expensive!!! Mibd you...my gf is chinese....so i know what i am talking about.

Btw cudos about leaving Thailand. That country imho is way overrated. Not worth it....

    Hans

Been to Germany many times. Beautiful country, but what a mess! Too many incomers, too many unemployed youths, many poor pensioners who live on for about 7,000€, constant conflicts btw Neo-Nazis and immigrants (expats?) and probably too many sleeping t.errorists too! ... and so on...

Been living in Europe many years, graduated and have a good career. An since I don't believe in the govn't that they could keep their promises on Wealthfare and pension etc. so I'm planing to move back home to Thailand very soon. Europe is not it once used to be either. Many countries have problems with job opportunities, pension reforms and many changes to come since they don't have the money to pay the baby boomers' pension... and no cheap energy either since the US orders them to sanction Russia. And Good luck with your new neighbors in Europe!

You know there is zero reporting for me on my marriage visa. Got a 2 year visa and have no reporting to do. The 3 month reporting in Thailand is a joke! For what reason they have that, I'd really like to know

Many bar girls could marry a criminal whom just wanted a visa to stay in Thailand as their hiding place, for money. I don't say all the guys who married bar girls are criminals though, it's just an example. Many things need to be doing to stop the"accidents" like jumping from high building of foreigners (mostly criminals) to happen. Many unpaid hospital bills, Many unpaid for sending corpses (of poor retirees with no insurances and family) to their home countries. Many freeloaders who want good infrastructure and services but don't want to pay any income taxes. I'm glad that Thailand's begun the cleansing... Yes, it affects good guys who just want to be with their family and friends and to be treated right, but all these restrictions and reports are still needed to improve the situation. It's just still too risky of not to doing so. Thailand is still a poor country and we don't have money over to pay for these freeloaders.

As a chartist and former currency trader, I look at patterns.  USD down, as well as paired western currencies.  Chinese Yuan up—by similar patterns in reverse.

A concerted effort to achieve this result is obvious.  The questions remain: who allowed this, and why?  I would start at Bank of Thailand for answers.

Putin & Xi are dumping the $US. They don't like the idea that the FED can print the money as much as they please without anything(gold) backing it. But they (Putin&Xi) are still wanting the $ to be around, till they could spend their tons of $ and buy up the world for these paper money and could find ways (gold backed RMB?) to replace the current monetary system. Thailand is not in the position of power to doing so, but we watch it carefully and act accordingly...

For those currently concerned about so-called man-made greenhouse gases (CO2) destroying the atmosphere, C02 leads to the growth of new trees and forests, which, in turn, pour oxygen out into the atmosphere and into our seas.

Yea... they should also be more worried about Methane gas (23 times the effect of the CO2), which mainly produced from the meat production in America. Radioactive substances are also the main destroyers too, especially from the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster that destroys most of marine life (including Plankton which is the greatest O2 producer on the earth!) in the Pacific Ocean. Even if I love seafood I don't think I's eat anything from the Pacific Ocean though.

Thailand, do you even care that the whole world is laughing at you for numerous reasons? Sorry, redundant question.

No problem, Thailand can have the last laughs ????.

But this sign is absolutely unforgivable! It came from the local sub-district political office (Aor. bor. tor.). They just try to fishing the voters in that sub-district... but it has nothing to do with the drink driving law. You'll still get the fines for drunk driving! ????

Greta was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome... they just use that poor girl for their own advantages. Her mother is an opera singer and I think all of her family are in the entertainment industry... that's how much credibility they have.

Historically Mother Earth is very good at taking care of herself unleashing a major catastrophe every 10 to 12 thousand years, the last one was around 12 thousand years ago, which means?

She will do her jobs very soon in the near future. It's been very frequent now with earthquakes around the ring of fire in the last decades, especially around San Andreas Fault, California, Japan and our neighboring countries (Philippines, Indonesia) and Islands in the Pacific ocean, then those countries around the North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. I'm planing to move back to my hometown in Isan in the near future. Even though Thailand geographical location is around by high mountain ranges (except in the south), Isan seems to be the safest place to live in since in the North can have problem with landslides...

Thai soap operas are watched and popular in all over Asia, in some countries in S. America, Europe and in Africa... basic in all around the world.
