  1. many Thais have a limited view of the world. they think Thailand is the best country in the world, that the Thai people are the best people in the world. my thai friend wants to fly with thai airways only, despite the fact that there are better international airlines on the same airline. thais think since childhood, all Thai is better than abroad. Thai people do not see that Thailand has the highest corruption, high crime rate, food in 7/11 poor quality, uncritical thinking. I have to talk a lot with my girlfriend to convince her. A typical example of Thai nationalism and superiority is the FB group's Spotlight Phuket ( now Spotlight Thailand2) admin. He despises tourists and foreigners. is incredible, he presents himself as a benefactor, and a person with a good heart... but, he did this video, where he speaks vulgar to tourists.. yes, this is the look of some thais to us ... https://streamable.com/jckp6l?fbclid=IwAR2U_DrAq-30SvZFoU5g_p2BAle0FA3VyyMCJ8dRZPBpB9cqzzCIgQFtON8

Result of Anutin behavior = negative AD for Thailand, and the image of the Thai people as racists. Yes, maybe some thais are so,, but lot of thais no. My thai girlfriend she said, many thais do not like government and she said: Anutin is stupid....

  3. Thai healt minister insulted  white tourists from USA, UK, EU, AU again! these are not the first dirty insults of this minister.
He said earlier that it is necessary to kick the farangs out of the country, the sign farangs is a derogatory name for white tourists

I have sent this report to several European newspaper editors

  4. My Thai girlfriend is working at the thai bank, the credit card department.  she told me they had very many calls because of the non-payment of credit card loans..many Thais  have trouble repaying loans...I think,  this is direct evidence that the Thai economy is in trouble,,causes fall tourism, corona virus, China, strong baht,  not welcome for expats life in Thailand. yes chinese tourist - welcome,, but foreigners from USA, EU, AUS = not welcome = TM30, VISA rules,, dual prices, as Anutin said: need to kick out farangs... ocourse, not all Thai people have the same opinion as Anutin.

I don’t see any discrimination unless you are talking about discriminating against the Chinese. The Chinese need a visa to visit Thailand whereas most westerners can come in visa exempt for 30 days or more.
Since you’re a newbie,  I guess you can be excused for not knowing the facts.

I am from Europe, If i use the airport - 30 days entry (it depends on the immigration officer whether he admits me), for a longer stay, I need visit the immigration office, or i need to visit embassy before travel.

    Chinese citizens =

Chinese citizens who wish to apply for a Thailand tourist visa can currently apply for a 15-day visa on arrival. The visa on arrival has been made available online, through a simple application, to speed up border control upon arrival.

Starting, February 15, 2019,  all Chinese travelers will be able to request the new Thai eVisa, for stays up to 60 days, which will grant them access to a fast lane instead of waiting in long lines at the border upon arrival.

The Thai government and the Thai authorities do not conceal the fact that they prefer tourists from China / India than from Europe.

Chinese citizens can apply eVisa up to 60 days too  / The Government of the Kingdom of Thailand is currently waiving the additional visa on arrival payment of 2,000 Baht (approximately 61 USD) until the 30th of April 2020 in order to promote the Thai iVisa for Chinese citizens - I do not have this option, as a person from the European Union.

I am a newbie here (forum thaivisa), but I am a multi-year visitor of Thailand, short and long stays.

That you don't know all the facts about Chinese visas , its ok, we are not embassy workers.

But the fact, that chinese citizens can use  60 day eVisa  without charge and I can not, is a clear benefit for China. If  i want to be in thailand 60 days i have to visit immigration office (or embassy before travel) and pay.

The fact that Thailand despite the coronavirus/ along with free eVisa, allows Chinese tourists to enter, is the best proof of how important chinese money is for Thailand, and everything else is secondary, including the health of Thai citizens, the health of foreign tourists/expats.

sorry for my grammar, english is not my native language

This is rare in almost any country with any wife.  If she has your child, do you expect her to go back to work the next day to pay for diapers, food for herself and baby, and gas for the car?

Yes, a good "relationship" would be where monies are shared and accounting is not necessary as both contribute more or less equally .  That would be rare in Thailand I think, kudos to you

if we have a child, of course, i will take care of the family. I prefer, if my wife is at home, not work. and i love to give gifts to my wife,,, because, I've known her for years, and I know she's not a golddigger. sorry for my grammar, my native language is not English

Guessing your in a wheelchair with no money, how do you manage?

No, I'm not in a wheelchair. but I'm sick, and maybe in the future. My  partner could leave me, she won't do it.  she has been standing with me for over 5 years without " monthly salary from me" or buying expensive gifts and money support. she has her job + she does investing. she's not a gold digger . she refused the rich man, her words: money are not everything... and, she is thai, and this is rare in Thailand, because we know, what is the role of gold and money in Thailand.

I remember the bafflement of Thai ladies when the wall came down and East Europeans appeared here - the Ladies just could not grasp the concept of farangs with no money.

My friend, Czech Petr Kellner has purchased a racist horse for a 250 millions krones ( 10 millions euros), for same horse, Bill Gates offered 200 millions, Kellner won. In a small country of the Czech Republic, there are cca 30000 USDmillionaires. You live 30 years ago, with your thoughts about the tourists from Central Europe :-) ..
