I can see why some foriegn people go mad here, one's sense of humor and appreciation of irony has to be beyond normal functionality.

I gave it a mai pen rai response and it wasn't ever mentioned again and that was 6 mos ago. I wasn't terribly concerned with it, seeing as I could shut down it's capabilities within my phone and I'm probably more capable than the individuals who developed it anyway. It was just the principle. 

It seems this news has hurt the feelings of those stuck on the outs, watching from afar while under lockdown in the cold, in their low tier flat. ????

Yeah, I knew after speaking with a relative in the Thai family who works amongst some clout, that there would be no blanket lock down. This will be a flash in the pan, by mid January it will be back to the only wu-flu reporting being related to ASQ arrivals. This should come as no surprise. Russia has major resources that the CCP wants, they'll use their satellite state that possesses the world's most powerful military,  to acquire it, by whatever means necessary.

One of the many reasons I live here, being well aware of my forever only a "long term guest" status, is that I've no obligation to take any vested interests in any requirement or adherence to random nonsense that was specified for the citizenry.
