Same as in Thailand, rogue elements. I doubt Putin is giving his approval to this, but then I doubt he's trying too hard to crack down on it.
It could be if the poison were something more easily available. But this is not a poison that's easy to come by.

Were non Obama supporters out rioting in the same way the non Trump supporters are doing nowadays ?
First off, 93 percent of these demonstrations were entirely peaceful. In the 7 percent, the number of the violent participants varied. Is it your contention that the small number of violent protestors were in fact all supporters of Obama, and if they were, are they a statistically significant number?

And now Trump is trying to get Fox to fire their reporter who independently confirmed some of the story in the Atlantic.

Read the full story... They are only accepting nationals from those countries. So if you are from Europe or America or another country and have been stuck in Thailand firing this covid.. You still can't leave and go to China.. If that is what you were trying to do anyway.
I followed the link to the full story. No mention of restricting flight only to nationals of those countries. Is there some other more expansive article you are referring to?

Well yes, people who are opposed to shutdowns getting haircuts is a far cry from people who support shutdowns getting haircuts.
In getting a haircut Pelosi is morally guilty of hypocrisy. In urging citizens of states where lockdowns were imposed to liberate themselves, in denigrating the wearing of masks, in hosting meetings where basic precautions established by his own White House Council weren't observed, Trump is morally guilty of homicide. And your takeaway from this? Bad Nancy!

We shall see. Biden still suffers from a very large enthusiasm gap. I believe this is a significant factor in why most of the pundits who predicted Trump losing were wrong. Heck, even I thought Trump would lose. This year, it's anyone's guess.
Not really. The democratic voters who went for other candidates in the primaries are now very enthusiastic about beating Trump.

Fauci says October. China already has a vaccine probably tested on a bunch of criminals then forced in contact with covid positive people. Probably Thailand will get the Chinese vaccine sooner than later.
Fauci said it is unlikely that a vaccine will be ready by the end of October but not impossible.

Nowhere does the article you linked to it endorse or the foolishness embodied by this paragraph of yours:
"This guy and his foundation also pay a plethora of independent fact checkers including the Poynter Institute and Gannett —which use their fact-checking platforms to silence detractors and to “debunk” as “false conspiracy theories” and “misinformation,” charges that Gates has championed and invested in biometric chips, vaccine identification systems, satellite surveillance, and COVID vaccines, which of course ,he has "contributed" to."

In other words... this week the CDC quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6% of all the 153,504 American deaths recorded actually died from Covid. That's 9,210 deaths that are confirmed to have died from Covid. Hardly an Emergency, hardly a disaster and certainly not a Pandemic. The other 94% had 2 to 3 other serious illnesses and the overwhelming majority were of very advanced age; 90% in nursing homes. See Table 2. Comorbidities...

All you need to do is consult the excess mortality numbers to see that your claim is wrong. In fact, the excess mortality numbers universally point to a higher figure than the official one.

If by the "real deal" you mean that this vaccine looks promising after Phase 2 trials. well, lots of vaccines look promising after Phase 2 trials. Not so many do after Phase 3 trials are completed. You're setting a pretty low bar for what the "real deal" means.

Well, you've managed to come up with an all purpose dismissal of personal responsibility. Let's call it the que sera sera defense.

If some people were allowed to vote twice , this would be proof that the system doesnt work
Too bad there aren't some authorized agencies such as something called The Dept. of Justice that could carry out such an investigation. Instead, as in all matters of criminal investigations, it has to left to a hardy band of citizen volunteers. I just hope that they are carrying badges and wearing decoder rings.

Actually, the lie here seems to be coming from you. Factcheck.org says no such thing. And a Fox News reporter got corroboration for some of statements that the Atlantic article contained.

I still don't get why republicans are making an issue about this? Surely there are more important things to focus on?
I think it's clear that these measures definitely were imposed out of hatred for Trump. And it's not just cities and states that did this. Most of the rest of the world including Thailand imposed these restrictions out of hatred for Trump.
I hope I cleared that up for you.

I do not think this is what the Russion governement wants. They know exactly, how "the west" will react.Because Putin has demonstrated in the past that he fears Western reaction to his gambits?

Dems: Mail in voting is safe and secure.
Trump: Everyone should try to vote twice then as this cant happen.
It's states that govern voting rules and if they say attempting to cast a 2nd vote is a crime, then it's a crime.
And whatever the opinion of Republican, Democratic and Independent supporters of mail-in balloting may be, it's utterly irrelevant to the issue of committing a crime.

A $20 Billion trade surplus is a sign of a strong economy, the country can take a hit on that surplus and still be in good shape.
When the surplus is gone and the baht collapses, you can start talking about Thailand being bankrupt.
Not really. For one thing, Thailand has a highly protected economy. So inferior goods and services are protected from competition. Also, what was Thailand's total external trade - imports and exports - for the period and how does that compare to corresponding periods?

I can't speak for all countries but as Americans we are an individualistic society. Also right now a very divided one. The main problem is the media has been so dishonest for so long now we simply don't trust them anymore which is why we were so slow in complying and taking it seriously
Nothing at all to do with Trump having consistently denigrated mask-wearing? Even now, he violates the White House's own guidelines. He politicized public health issues.

A career criminal is someone who makes a living from a life of crime? Any evidence at all that this is the case with Blake? And, no, skin color doesn't count.
