Does anyone know how people are being called up to get their shots? I am registered with a GP but not on the electoral roll. It'll be a while before they get to my age bracket but when they do, should I expect to be contacted?
Are you serious? Just download, read and try to understand the vaccine document from Pfizer.
I'm not saying more, I was blocked too many times. Im tired of that assisted thinking.

In this case Covid insurance with TGIA can be refunded, and many airways companies and ASQ accept a postponement
Don't forget to buy insurances to cover the fail of other insurances

Wth is there a difference??? Airlines only want vaccinated passengers ... so for me, bye-bye travelling

Don't worry. If your PCR 72 hours prior to ETD is positive, wave bye-bye to all prepaid money.
If you your test was done in time prior to ETD and is negative, there shouldn't be any problems, because you aren't responsible for delays of flights

Ridiculous. I prefer my future visits of Thailand staying on my couch.
I fly vaccination free with Microsofts Flight Simulator, thereafter see famous places on YouTube.

A good way to achieve the stated goal of -50% in traffic deaths.

It's waste of money. AOT expects 30 million MORE passengers every year?
Sorry, thats ridiculous. There are about 40-50 million less than 2019 now, and they plan 80 million?
@AOT I pray for rain of brain ... and some calculators

This insurance was a lobbying effort by the insurance companies. Ridiculous. If Thailand was or is worried about foreigners being admitted to hospitals and not paying their expenses a simple fee could be imposed for entering Thailand for each tourist. Assuming a normal year of 38 million million tourists a fee of as little as 100 baht would provide a fund of 3.8 billion. Even a modest fee of 1,000 baht would provide a fund of 38 million. Almost enough to buy two submarines. ???? I am certain that tourists visiting Thailand would prefer to have a fee assessed than go through the necessary hurdles to get an insurance policy and as this article so accurately describes they still might find they are not covered.
Some people have several credit cards. I recommend to have multiple insurances and very deep pockets too, when entering Thailand. There will be or find reasons to collect as much as possible.

What scares me ... healthy people (negative test) start to Thailand. 3 days in luxury quarantine hotels there are suddenly positive.
Seems to be a good additional $$$ business idea for Thailand.
It's just one more reason to stay away. If I wanna visit Thailand, I burn a incense candle and look youTube

I don't understand all the negativity. 21 days in a quarantine hotel for the price of 14 seems to be a reasonable deal to me.
Thats a big deal. You're right. I have 3 weeks holidays. So right after quarantine I'm flying back home.
As far as I see that, it's a waste of time and money for a luxury jail vacation

Sometimes i must smile about these silly ideas and even more, that there are responsible people speaking out or writing down these ridiculous "news".
But the absolutely best are the replies @all of you, who are writing a reply: You made my day ????????????

The Oxford University/Astra Zeneca vaccine is not an mRNA vaccine (it's a viral vector vaccine).
Also, even if it were, the stories about mRNA vaccines being capable of altering a person's DNA are scientifically incorrect.
What's known as the Central Dogma of Molecular Biology, as established by Francis Crick (who won the Nobel Prize with James Watson for the paper proposing the double helix structure of DNA) is often stated as:
"DNA makes RNA and RNA makes protein."
It doesn't go the other way; RNA cannot make or modify DNA - except with a tiny number of exceptions involving the use of reverse transcriptase, which neither the SARS-CoV-2 virus (nor its spike protein) contains.
Ok, you go and check, what's inside. About 20 different manufacturers are running to make the big deal.
Even China is on the market with their first "copies". Who's going to tell the people 100% exactly, what their injection contains. I don't wanna be a victim. I wanna survive and smile.
Up to you ... go and get it. Good luck

I'm still wondering. I don't really like Mr. Trump, but all i saw the last days. He was declared to be President only by all mass media worldwide.
Haven't heard an official status by the electoral board.
Well, we all should remain silent and respect democratic rules, as long as we don't want to accept dictatorship.
Oh, by the way. If fraud is proven in one state, ALL votes belong to Trump there.

Try to visit Thailand as a tourist again, as I did for many years, always 2-4 weeks and 2 trips every year.
Now:
Prepay tickets 40000
COE 3000
ASQ hotel 50000
"Fit-for-fly" medical 3000
Special Covid insurance 4000
Name a guarantee $$$
2-3 days before flight PCR-Test 3000
If positive all above money is gone
After arrival 14 days jail with 3 meals daily. After that time is over, you wear a wristband 2-3 days and fly back home.
End of holidays

Ridiculous. Have they been jailed in ASQ's? Not allowed to leave their rooms for at least 3 days?
This peoples income do not compare at all with "normal" tourists.

I paid my flight with AMEX to travel agency. Due to pandemic situation I rebooked thru Thai airways.
Than my return flight was canceled by Thai airways.
Amex denied, because insuance of travel agency must cover.
Travel agency denied, because Thai airways rebooked.
Thai airways denied, because of Covid-19 situation.
Now Thai airways is bankrupt, total loss about 50000 THB. Smooth as silk
