Hello everyone! I did my last two extensions at the temporary VISA place but read somewhere, that the main government building at Chaengwattana does extension of stays now again. Which is correct? I am planing on going tomorrow. Thanks!

Thank you! And a TM7 form is required too (incl. photo).

Always the same argument here, why should you care if you have nothing to hide? Everything you do can be used against you!
"You have nothing to fear, if you have nothing to hide" oh sorry, that one was from Goebbels. But not far off from 1984, aren't we?

What is a recommended reason to check on the Covid 19 extension of stay form which has been successful for others?

It's a 60 day covid extension. Prior to it's expiry you could apply for another if they are made available.
Disregard the fact that it might be possible to return to own country.
What is advised to use as an explanation/checkbox on the Covid 19 extension form?

No need for a letter from your embassy. You just need to complete a affidavit stating the reasons you need the extension that immigration will give to you.
Thank you for the information!
Is there a form for the affidavit?
What is a valid reason used by applicants in the past?

I'd appreciate if someone can help me out. I'm on a 60 day tourist visa, which I have extended once for 30 days until end of February. Under this new order, can I apply for a 60 day extension up until my visa expires? I remember that a TR-60 can only be extended once, or is this a special circumstance now and rules are different? Are embassy letters still required or what else would I have to supply to immigration to request my Covid extension?
Stay safe!
Where to apply for a Covid extension in Bangkok?

Thank you for your answer, much appreciated.
I'm on a TR-60 visa so I'll be heading over to Chaeng Wattana (used to go to Muang Thong Thani in the past with my TR-60).
