I should say it's more humiliating for the human than for the tiger, since it shows absolutely no respect for the animal as an alpha predator. If you want to cuddle a tiger, buy a toy and watch Disney animations, these wild animals have millenia of predatory instincts developed in them. Do you imagine that being born in captivity for one or two generations changes that? The answer to that question can be found in the number of idiots in South Africa and elsewhere that have been killed, maimed, dismembered and eaten when they thought they had a friendly relationship with the beast.

Peak go-go bar was probably about ten years ago. Prosperity prior to Covid extended the plateau for a few years, during which time rents and associated costs skyrocketed, the girls became wiser to their options than the previous generations, and cash was splashed indiscriminately by new generations of punters. All that came to an end two years ago, and the conflict between authoritarian and liberal governments is likely to mean that the World has changed forever. In light of that, I'd say Thailand's illicit nightlife will probably slip into the same kind of slot seen in Rio or Hamburg.

This will be genetically modified or with the THC taken out so it's not psychoactive. It's just the latest in a long line of fads which will die down in due course. Useful for some types of pain and cancer anecdotally, but so far no large-scale, rigorous scientific trials have been undertaken, due in part to the difficulty of regulating dosage.
