yeah i noticed this yesterday pm.....IT IS ALL blocked off !! so where can one enter this new supa dupa motorway ???
You can only enter at highway 7, North Pattaya or at Ban Chang, Sukhumvit. Entrance/ exits at Ocean Marina and 331 road are closed and there was a sign at the 331 exit this morning saying it will open in September.
The exit at Ban/Chang Maptaphut isn't really completed either so a bit of work ahead them yet.
-
I got a message from a Thai friend saying it opened at 1600 this afternoon.
-
Motorists are not zipping anywhere on this road just now. Still closed with all entrances/ exits blocked and signs covered up. I wonder if they confused May with June?
-
36 road is the one that goes to Rayong and seems to have a lot of workers standing by. They are building a few bridges over intersections but there is also a lot of road being resurfaced with concrete that isn’t really needed or was done a few years ago. Concrete factory guy obviously has a big house and a nice car now.
Motorway 7 extension going to Map Tha Phut/ Utapao airport is the one with the land disputes.

I tried to do the report online using all the browsers but just get the message to contact the local immigration office after typing in all my details.
I then saw there was an app so installed that on my phone but when trying to register I get an error message "JTA transaction unexpectedly rolled back...."
Seems like there is no solution other than to go down to the immigration office. -

I tried the online 90 day reporting about 3-4 times and never worked as always came up with the message.
Today I tried for the first time the "ImmeService" App and for the first time I could do the 90 day report online. It was approved about 4-5 hours after I entered all Information!
Actually I think the app works (at least for me) perfect. there is the option to check the status and you can look the latest documents, which you downloaded. So you have the 90 day report on your phone too.
I read from others, that they are not happy... so actually I was not expecting too much.. and was positive surprised
I tried to register on this app today and I just get a message "JTA transaction unexpectedly rolled back...."

I heard 4 units were sold at auction.
I think its fair to say that 4 from 138 is not a massive amount considering the auctions were going on throughout the year. What will happen to the unsold units now?
-
Well, not in caps, it would be good to know what happened at the auctions?
I have asked this question a few times as well but did not see any response. Looking back through the thread the final auction was on 23rd August.
I think we can only assume that there have been no buyers. That would make one wonder what will happen to these units now?

Surely nobody is suggesting any form of corruption or incompetence is involved? I'm sure they know what they're doing and the problem will be rectified in due time.

Was at Soi Siam Country club yesterday. Nothing short of atrocious. The authorities should be embarrassed

I signed up for LTP back in May by paying for the course over 4 monthly installments. I paid the first two installments and everything was going fine. A few days a ago when I logged in the system is showing my subscription as expired and shows no record of my payments. As a result I cannot access any of the lessons.
I wrote an email to them and sent them a note through the message system on their website informing them of this error but as of yet I have not received any response from LTP. I have wrote to them every day now for 3 days and still no reply or resolution to the problem. I am very disappointed with this lack of customer support as I was enjoying the course.
I don't know if any of you have experienced similar problems or have a contact number for them? Their silence is very frustrating as their website states they will reply to queries within 24 hours.
An update,
I heard back from LTP and I am back online with full access. It was just a minor Technical hitch so my overall impression is that this is a very good course.

There must have been 3 or 4 rounds of auctions by now so can we assume there hasn't been any buyers of these units?

anyone gone to the auction and can post if they sold some units and the prices?
I asked a few weeks ago if there were any buyers at the first auction but there was no response from anyone. I would think that the condo management office and the committee members would know if there were any buyers so I am assuming the silence means no buyers as of yet.
On page 4 of this thread somebody posted the auction dates. Seems next one is tomorrow.

Many people have said it is the condo committees decision on how much to charge for the debt free letter, but the guy in question was charged an extortionate fee for his one. With that said I wonder who really was behind the decision to charge a very high fee for this?
Definitely some concern there as this condos reputation proceeds it

If anyone can attest to buying a condo at the auction in the last few days and not being extorted for a letter by the 9k office then it would be good if they could post their experiences.
At the moment, it would appear nobody bought at the first round of auctions.

So, 40k for checking their computer database and issuing a standard piece of paper? Over Bt5m if that is the going rate for all the rooms up for auction.
Yes, totally reasonable.
I would have to agree with this. 40k or whatever for a letter is ridiculous.

Next auction dates are April 19, May 9, May 31, June 21, July 12, August 2, August 23
Has there been some rounds of auctions already and was there any buyers?

Does anyone know If there were any buyers at the first couple of days of auctions?

I heard that previous units that went to auction were auctioned off in the format that the bid price starts high and is reduced by 10% over 3 or 4 auctions a couple of weeks apart. Is this what's going to happen in this case?

The Fairtex gym is now asking 20k for fitness only for new members and 18k for existing members renewing. I can't remember for sure but I thought it was 13k last year.
Seems they're getting a little shy about turning on the AC in there as well. Been a bit hot the last few times I was there and a few people complaining about it.
