Thank you. Looks like this vulnerability may have been around since 2002. Hopefully they will come up with a fix soon.

You also missed the point. There has been discovered a major vulnerability. It's totally mainstream, you can't miss it.
It's 'new' vulnerability and has been discovered today and thats what Microsoft tried to patch.
More here:
I see it talks about rouge dhcp servers. Does it also affect a dedicated IP?

Or maybe it is not working, in the sense of why you are using the VPN and why there was a Windows Update about it. You should check the reason for all of this. Keyword is 'TunnelVision'.
I am not good enough to speak intelligently on this subject. When I go to the Nord website it says that I am protected. Beyond that I would not know what to check.

I guess I am lucky. My NordVpn still works.

Thank you for all of the replies. The only income I have in Thailand is the interest I earn from my savings account with BKK Bank. They take the taxes from my earned interest automatically. All of my other income is earned outside of Thailand.
So hopefully a return will not be required as per the above replies.

Are we as LTR holders required to file a Thai income tax return?

Can they send you Push notifications? In short, push notifications are alerts that are "pushed" to your devices by apps, even when those apps aren't open. They're designed to catch your attention on smartphones, laptops, and even on smart watches

Thank you for the information. I did not know the US was working on a vaccine as well.

I had Cigna Global that I bought from the UK. I was just trying to explain that it included all but the US. I bought the plan using Thailand as my base. Around March the billing on my credit card changed from Cigna Global to Chubb. So it started as Cigna and changed to Chubb.

Mine was Global except for the US. I called the UK when confirming I was still covered until the end of my policy year. Had I continued I would have done as you say and found out exactly what would be included globally after the change to Chubb. I was still able to login under Cigna Global to view my policy. I never used it during my coverage thankfully so not sure how it would have worked if I had had to use it.

Hi Sheryl,
He had Cigna Global. I had it as well until last month. My billing changed from Cigna Global to Chubb Thailand. They went through some sort of reorganization around March of this year. When I called Cigna after canceling my renewal (I still had 12 days left on my policy but I could no longer see it when I logged into the site) to make sure I was still covered for the remaining days.
So I not sure how it works with them now with their name change. I decided to go with AXA from the UK as their renewal price went up a lot.

No need to go to BoI immigration and have a multi-entry stamp entered since your evisa states multi-entry. Misty entered on an LTR evisa like you just did and visited with BoI on the question you are asking. See Misty's 19 Dec 2022 post at the bottom and a partial quote from her post regarding your question.
Misty's 19 Dec 2022 post below.
Thank you for the quick response. I was reading through the responses and saw a picture of the stamps from one of the posters and it had both stamps listed, It looks like I did not read far enough.
Thank you again,

I arrived in bkk last night 4-5-2023 and only received the visa stamp ltrp (evisa and it states multi on it) and not a multi entry stamp along with it. Has it changed or do I need to go to immigration and have multi stamp added? I have my evisa paperwork with the multi listed on it tucked in my passport just in case.

Does anyone use the rubber pouches with the stomahesive 4x4 wafers x 5 to a box plain no circles (you cut them yourselves)? I use Torbot glue/cement to bind it to my skin (hazardous material). I bring them with me on the plane with a doctors note but I would like to be able to get it in Thailand.

Congrats!!
Where you said "completed" 14 March do you mean that's when you got the endorsement approval notice/email from BoI "or" later on when you paid the fee/got the visa actually issued since a person has up to 60 days after endorsement notice to actually pay the fee/get the visa issued.
Any other details you might want to share like method used to satisfy medical coverage, any request for additional docs, etc., would be appreciated as such details can add insight to the LTR approval process.
Again...congrats!!
The 14th of March was the final approval date from BOI. I then went to their website and downloaded the completed form needed for the submission to get my e-visa. I submitted my e-visa application on 15 March and received an email from the embassy with the e-visa approval on 23 March.
I had trouble paying for it with my first credit card even while I had the bank on the phone. The bank said it was the visa company and then the visa company said it was the bank… So I tried another one of my cards while talking to the bank and it failed again but at least this time I was asked for pin from visa for a verification. While talking to the bank I asked why it had failed and they researched it and said it was because my home address was incorrect. I could not figure this out as on the payment page it does not ask you for your address. I ended up going through creating another e-visa and where you put in your address it only asks for street and city. This time on the address line for city I put in city state and zip code on that line and my payment went through.

LTR Visa is Now available for Long Term Residency
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I flew in to Chiang Mai last night 16/5/2024. I did not look for a fast lane as I was number three off the plane. It did take them awhile to sort through my LTR (four people looking at it trying to decide what to do) but in the end they stamped it correctly. So it is still fairly new to some of the immigration people. I would guess as more of us go in and out of the different airports in Thailand it will get quicker.
Fyi
