  1. If I were you, I'd start with Pattaya or Soi Nana and Soi Cowboy if in Bangkok. Hundreds of honorable, honest and loving beautiful girls there :o

I know many Westerners here are for finding the love and marriage with a bar girl and I think they are very lucky but I don't feel it is for the right choice for me.

Too stuck up for a nice village girl? :D

NO I am most respecting of bar girls but don't feel they are the right marriage for me. I am not knocking others' choices in ladies.

  2. I am new to Thailand and it seems as though it is easy to meet "a" Thai girl. But I am interested in meeting a loving and beautiful TG for a long term relationship and possible marriage. I know many people find the right girl in a bar and that is great but you do also here some horror stories.

I was wondering if any long term residents and/or senior posters had any tips regarding finding an honest long term love in Thailand. Does Thailand have introduction agencies? Is there a "singles" scene for over 40s in Bangkok?

  3. the insomnia is realated to the pain associated with Chronic Accute Prostsatis of which I have an untreatable case. As the pain from the CAP is unikley to disapate any time soon I need a long term, mildly/non addictive sleeping pill. I have been throuhg the Thai GPs stantdard of Diazepam or Xananx and they both seem short term fixes for a long term problem.

  4. I have a long term sleep problem ( 2 years +) And after taking a new course of medecine prescribed by a Thai Doctor it has got a lot worse. Are there any Western standard sleep clinics, pyschiatrists etc etc that treat this kind of thing in Bangkok?

  5. I'd also like to advise that anything read here can only serve as very uninformed opinion- few (if any) of us are doctors or have medical training, and even if we were none of us has actually met or performed any diagnostic procedures on the OP. The OP seems sensible enough to understand this, but just to make sure: none of this advice constitutes a real, professional medical opinion. Please get the help of qualified experts.
