thanks sbk!
Am from Manila, Philippines, by the way. Planning to visit my sister working there. Try to have a taste of thai food and shopping as long as I can claim my vacation leave (45 days) from my office, hehehe...Unfortunately can't stay over 28 days, need to report to office on the 30th day of vacation to resume work otherwise I'll be kicked out.heheheh.

Thank you very much, got it now. Am now considering to stay not more than 15 days to avoid conflicts. In any case, I can make rebookings to change my return flights, an advantage of an "open dated ticket". I just got confuse because I got infos from friends that 30 days VOA is allowed.
Thank you very much.

I suspect you qualify for 30 day entry without visa and that is 30 days.
Visa on Arrival is 15 days and you buy a visa at a special counter in the airport before you enter the immigration lines. Only a limited number of countries are eligible for this service (mostly without Thai Consulates I believe).
If I get 15 days VOA, can I extend that for, say, another 10 to 15 days? If so, do you idea on the process? or Can I just declare the period of my stay say 28 days? Will they give that duration for VOA?

Hi,
Anyone can tell me how many days are being allowed for a Visa On Arrival in Bangkok? Am planning to stay for less than 30 days to visit my sister like a post holiday celeb. Thanks!

Hi,
I'm staying along Ramkamheang Road and its still dry here also Ram-Intra as I happen to pass along there from Central Ram-Intra going to Ladprao.
I just wanna ask if anybody here knows if its safe to travel via land to Arranyapratet/Poipet heading to Cambodia/PhenomPhen tomorrow. Are the roads going there are already clear from flood as of the moment?
thanks!
