  1.

My ex bought the tickets using her phone and there is
a one letter typo on my sons middle name, Jhon instead of John.

We finally heard back from Thai airways after 3 months of sending them emails about this and they have given no answer but to speak with the booking agent. The booking agent require $160 aus to change one letter!

Has anyone flown with this kind of typo on their ticket and it's been ok?

    Thanks

  2. Thanks for your replies. The plane is a Boeing 777-300er.

I have gone ahead and purchased the seats. I have flown with Thai quite a lot many years ago travelling to Bangkok and the service and whole experience was perfect.

It's a shame reading the reviews of how they have gone down hill, but this time the price was the best.

  3. I'll be flying on Thai airways tg911 London to Bangkok and wanted to upgrade
my seat to maybe get some better leg room with a bulkhead seat.

I chose 46d but thought I would check SeatGuru as well and noticed a completely different layout for the plane. 46d would be a standard economy seat on SeatGuru?

Which seating plan should be trusted?

    Thanks

  4. Hi All

The domain name I would like to use is already taken with .com and .co.uk

If I have to use .net or .co which one would be best for an online store?

    Thanks for any advice

Legacy Support. If you have Legacy Support listed, make sure it’s On or Enabled.

UEFI/Legacy Boot. If you have a UEFI/Legacy Boot option, make sure it’s selected as Both or Legacy Only.

Thanks for this! I can now boot from USB. The option wasn't there before, but after enabling Legacy it now works.

No. You probably need to start w/ one of these: https://www.sitepoint.com/10-best-ecommerce-platforms/

Later if you're actually making any money you can think about more independence. I'd keep the domain name registrar separate from the host. Namecheap comes to mind.

Many thanks for your replies. I'm already fairly successful on 2 popular selling sites and that is why I thought

time for a website. I have co.uk and .com registered with namecheap already, so that is why I am now looking at design and hosting.

    Thanks

  7. Hi

I hope I can get some advice with my question. I am looking to build an online store for my product.

I have contacted a company and they have quoted me to build the the website and their portfolio is impressive. They also offer an optional

    hosting package at a cost of £500 annually which consists of the following;

    10GB Storage Space

    30GB Monthly Bandwidth

    POP3 or IMAP Email Hosting

    Unlimited email addresses

Global CDN (Content Delivery Network) - Faster loading pages better for SEO

    HTTPS/TLS Optimisation

    Comment Spam Protection

    DDoS - Prevents Website Hacking

    Plus Telephone Support

    Domain Name Management & Renewal

Daily Incremental Back up for rolling back site

    Email Set up & Support

I know the bigger companies out there are offering great deals, but feedback on them isnt always

that good. Does this seem reasonable and a good idea to keep everything 'in house' regardng the website?

    Many thanks

  8. Hello

Ive tried one or two softwares to do this, but ideally I would like the software

to be able to join photos and have the option to have one big picture and afew

smaller pictures in one Jpeg. I have attached an example of what I would like

    to achieve.

Can anyone recommend some software for windows that can do this?

    Thanks

  9. Hi

My 9 year old son and I have recently moved back to the uk. He is fluent

in both thai and english. I would like him to carry on his thai language

eduaction, and at the end, be qualified like he would be learning it in a thai

    school.

Any recomendations on the best way to go about this?

    Thanks

  10. I came along Sukhumvit in a taxi about an hour ago, there was police loitering around the entrances to soi 5 and soi 11 with walkie talkies in hand communicating with other police officers positioned slightly further away from the entrances to the soi's, (probably eyeing up intended targets). Also a huge police presence at the major traffic lights at Asoke. I have nothing to worry about as far as testing positive for a urine sample but just their mere presence is very intimidating.

This was happening again today at around 3pm on corner of soi 11.

  11. My original visa was a single entry Non O based on taking care my son. I have extended this for 2 months already

at my local immigration, which allows me to stay in Thailand until 30th October.

I will be leaving Thailand for good with my son on 14th December (flights being booked today). Can I do a

border bounce on the 30th October and get 30 days and then do it again once those days are up which will give

me enough time until I leave on the 14th December?

I don't fancy the hassel of going to Laos and applying for another Non O so was wondering if this is possible?

    Many thanks

  12. Hi

I have my appointment for the renewal of

my sons passport on Tuesday at Trendy.

    This is the information I have ready to take with me;

    His old passport

1 app form with sections 1,2,3,4,5, 9 and 10 filled out

    x2 passport photos (1 countersigned)

Colour photo copies of every page of old passport (each page signed by me)

Letter from his school (translated into english) Original and copies

Letter from the court about custody (translated into english) originals and copies

Debit card form filled out with my UK debit card details.

I hope I have got everything in order, but please let me know if I have missed

    something.

    Many thanks

Assume your son is under 12.

All looks ok, presume the letter from the school confirms his name and Thai address.

Good luck - current delays are around 8 weeks from application to collection, assuming no issues, worst case to date is 16 weeks.

    Hi

The school letter gives both parents names and his name stating he goes to his school at Mueang District Udon Thani, year education 2014.

It does not have the home address!? Sh*t!
