What do you have a Visa or an Extension? This is the important thing.
Entered Thailand on a non imm b, got work permit, some time later job ended (at this time visa still has 2 months to go), hand in work permit, go to immigration with Tor Thor 10 (form from labour department saying that work has ended), previously you'd have 7 days from your last day of work as entered on Tor Thor 10 . Has this been changed to just one day?

I've just been told that the rules have changed regarding how long you can stay in the country when employment (legal with work permit) has finished. Previously it was 7 days, apparently Phuket immigration are saying that it's now 1 day, can anyone confirm?
If it's true, 1 day isn't very long to organise your affairs and prepare to leave.

Khao Prataew (Khao Phra Thaeo) National Park in Phuket is not on the list as either group 1, 2 or 3 and as far as I'm aware is not part of Sirinat National Park (it has a different name after all) so that means you don't have to pay to go there? Is that correct, can anyone confirm?
I bet those who go there today are being charged to get in.

The report says that they're alleged drug smugglers but doesn't mention any drugs being found.
No drugs = no evidence = no case????

Ah, I get it. Previously you didn't need to get a 7 day extension, you could just leave within 7 days or you could get the 7day extension stamped in your passport for free. Now it seems they're charging for it.
Expecting someone to leave the country the same day their job ends is ridiculous, rude even.
