  1. One week trial doesn't feel very thorough. But then again: This is Thailand. Important is only that they did it, then they deserve it!

If this is the case I think it is, the deceased wrote a letter to his lawyer explaining the situation shortly before he was killed. That document would have been a material document in court substantiated by eye witness accounts and other evidence gathered. It would seem it was an open and close case with all the evidence at hand.

Lord knows how he must have suffered during those final hours. RIP.

I hope he rests in peace, its a shame that this goes on especially in Thailand,I've read other cases before, the Law and Order needs to be stepped up to keep peace and people in their place!

  2. What is not good to look at are your capital letters, looks like you are shouting.

And your shouting sounds as bad as your silly post.

Is that all you can do is to critizise,i dont think my post silly at all i've been married to 2 thais and my 2nd wife is the best not for money,i write from experience, not like your fiction book notes are stupid!!!!!!!!

I wonder what happened to the farang mans guest house etc, does all that go to the thai-wife family or thai goverment???not so naive!

  3. all over the world, husbands murder wives, and wives murder husbands when they meet someone new, and want to take all the spoils of their marriage with them.

This is far from unique to Thailand or marriages with large age gaps.

No matter how many times you write 'no disrespect', implying the man is stupid is disrespectful.

    Daewoo.

I agree with your last sentence. Some of these posts should not have been posted; or removed by the mods. The thread is about a death and a murder convistion . Not about how we view certain farang - thai marriages

RIP FARANG,GOOD TO READ THERE IS JUSTICE IN THAILAND.IT JUST SHOWS YOU GOT TO BE CAREFUL ESPECIALLY IN THAILAND,YES IT GOES ON ALL OVER THE WORLD,ALL THE TIME YEAR IN AND OUT,FARANGS/FORIEGNERS ARE LOOKED AT LIKE MONEY BAGS,THIS IS NOTHING TO DO WITH RESPECT OR STUPIDITY BUT GREED, :) AFTER ALL LOVE IS BLIND TO MANY BUT SOME MARRIAGES WORKOUT NOT ALL!!!

  4. I had a past experience of buying a house for my now XThai wife when we were married and now she wants to sell it to me again, twice over as I bought it from her sister ,What can I do get a lease or demand money from her now she is living and working in UK?I had some trouble living there before we split up some 8 years ago, also with other Thais with merchettes and local police whom wanted to keep my passport in Chaingrai Office! My x wife and I are now friends, thats all :)

  5. You could put the house in a company name and the land with it but then your girfriend won't own?I had a past experience of buying a house for my XThai wife and now she wants to sell it to me again, twice over! I would say that your doing the best thing but if anything does go wrong, would you want to live there?? :) Best of luck, dont be another farang mug is my advice but its up to you!

  6. WARNING

DONT GO BANGKOK TO GET REGISTERED YOUR BIKE IN CAR PARK NR VECHICLE REGISTER CENTRE!!

THEY TOOK 18,000 BAHT OFF ME WITH IMPORT PARPERS AND NOT DO NOTHING

    THEY RIPP OFF FARANGS

THERE IS A WARNING SIGN AT VECHICLE CENTRE ABOUT THIS BUT SAW SO MANY PEOPLE DO THIS I THOUGHT THEY WERE OK,NOT SO,NOW TOO LATE.THEY MUST OF PAID OFFICAL TO DO THERE!!

  7. May I suggest you check tyre yourself and anything you can do,do it!!

I had a repeated experience everytime my carbs needed cleaning they changed the spark plugs charging 3000 baht just for them, instead of cleaning them too.The fuel gets clogged up if left for a long time but I found fuel conditioner resolves this problem, put in the fuel tank and leave with fuel full up!!

  8. You know Thailand has too much corruption, many farang have dealings which resolve in death and not because of under handed, just to rid a business rival, bad builders taken to court or debt owed!

Your Wife simply wants a better life in your country, like my wife! You have to compromise?

    regards

  9. I've ridden high powered bikes alot but am not reckless where i open it up! I'm an experienced rider and take my own helmet not don their one,I also check the bike over. Most rental people quirey if you are able to ride ok,i play it safe...I wouldn't drink and drive, protective clothen is only good for saving your skin and back in a minor accident,it'll not safe you!!! Remember to be safe in a foriegn country is your responsiblity,to rely on others to impose Law where it ignored,to keep you safe is the wrong thing to do. :) DONT FORGET WHAT YOU LEARNED IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY TO KEEP SAFE RIP
